As musicians these guys are clearly light years ahead of Mark Don & Mel. Not that I'm putting down Grand Funk..they were one of the 70's best rock bands ..but individually they weren't great players. A classic case of 'sum of the parts', something that Mark Farner should have realised before he quit back in '98. GFR recorded some great songs though and their stuff is strangely quite hard to cover. This a really interesting version...I love it - great vocals too!....Chris
