Satan can only do what God allows him to do....God allows bad to happen and wants it to be used for good (Romans 8:28), while satan wants it used for bad. God has complete control of satan, He created him and allows him to exist. All for the glory of God. Evidently you skipped the rest of the Old Testament where God sent armies to destroy entire villages. God is unchanging, the God of the OT is the God of the NT.

But all the commentators were saying that God does bad to help us which is wrong! An elder in our church was diagnosed with cancer about a year ago! Our Pastor had a word of knowledge though that his real problem was a porn addiction that was eating away at his soul.
So as a church we prayed for his healing and sang this song for him at the end of a Sunday night healing service.
He died for some reason about a month later. But we praise Jesus he went to heaven set free of his porn addiction. Worship the living God!

she is doing much better. going to H.S and turning 14 in Sept. she taught me how to stay strong and leave everything in God's hands. @ time she gets discourage b/c her friends get to eat whateveer they want and she cant but @ the same time they are thier for her when she plans to harm her self.She love her church fam. i was diagnosed with cancer in summer 2010. a month before my 15th birthday.. i had an emergency surgery to see what was going on. they found 2 massive tumors . one about 8 cm and the other was 10 cm. i was diagnosed with stage 3 non hodgkins lymphoma. i started aggressive chemotherapy after the surgery. this song encourages me and reminds me that God can bring me through whatever the devil tries to throw in my direction to keep me from my Healer, my God. everything ill ever need.

My husband had Parkinson's Disease but has been completley healed, no one was near him no one prayed for him, but as he stood up to worship God completley healed him that was 8 yrs ago it hasnt returned and he no longer takes tablets for parkinson disease God does still heal today

I really love this song. My Godmotherr had a disease where her joints will give out on her, and she would have to take so much medication per day. She went to the doctor a few months ago and the doctors saw no sign of the disease. She is healed, and doesnt have to take any more medication. I love you Jesus, and you are our healer <3

An elder in our church was diagnosed with cancer about a year ago! Our Pastor had a word of knowledge though that his real problem was a porn addiction that was eating away at his soul.
So as a church we prayed for his healing and sang this song for him at the end of a Sunday night healing service.
He died for some reason about a month later. But we praise Jesus he went to heaven set free of his porn addiction. Worship the living God!

i was diagnosed with cancer in summer 2010. a month before my 15th birthday.. i had an emergency surgery to see what was going on. they found 2 massive tumors . one about 8 cm and the other was 10 cm. i was diagnosed with stage 3 non hodgkins lymphoma. i started aggressive chemotherapy after the surgery. this song encourages me and reminds me that God can bring me through whatever the devil tries to throw in my direction to keep me from my Healer, my God. everything ill ever need.

@AlliRobbins86 my friend Eileen from church, couldnt have babies and so it was for many many years, we set apart to fulfill our ministries didnt see her for another 5 years....I just found out last year that she got pregnant, and she just a a beautiful baby girl :) don't lose hope just cleanse yourself from sin and worship him and he will answer.

My husband had Parkinson's Disease but has been completley healed, no one was near him no one prayed for him, but as he stood up to worship God completley healed him that was 8 yrs ago it hasnt returned and he no longer takes tablets for parkinson disease God does still heal today

To think the man who wrote this admitted to lying about having cancer... I'm a nurse and that is one of the most horrible things to lie about. The hillsong movement is such a corrupt and perverse one. It's a shame the people within it can't see how they've been brainwashed by the Houston family.

@proudsouthafrican It is not corrupt. This song has changed many people and brought many to God. For I am a witness of this. You should not judge him for his mistake, for that is Gods decision in the end. It is up to him. Yeah, everyone knows that you should not lie about that, but who are we to judge him? this is the most beautiful presentation i found for this song (also to pass on for other people). I have had chronic depression for many years and at the moment it has gotten worse again and my body is affected too so I'm holding on to Jesus and this song is helping me within.

i was dignosed with depresson and im only 17and my dactor said that i have to take my antidepren for my whole life. i feel like i dont hve to because jesus is all i need and he's my healer . he is more than enough.. to all of ur out there that have depression or know some one that do please belive and have faith in jesus cause i promise if u have jesus u dont have to be on the meds for your whole life

@lvnlife2dafullest : Keep the FAITH! I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in 2007 but I believe that God has healed me. I no longer take the medication. I keep telling my self that I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@lvnlife2dafullest Hello! I will tell you that sometimes Jesus helps us by working through our doctors, too. If you need to take antidepressants for a while, or forever, it's ok! Jesus is in control with that too! I took meds for 20 years. Then I was healed at a healing service, quietly, and without a bunch of attention. I am happy now. Still, if my struggle with depression returns, I would not hesitate to see a doctor again. Jesus works in many ways!

I really love this song. My Godmotherr had a disease where her joints will give out on her, and she would have to take so much medication per day. She went to the doctor a few months ago and the doctors saw no sign of the disease. She is healed, and doesnt have to take any more medication. I love you Jesus, and you are our healer <3

There is a girl I know. We havent been getting allong that well. But she passed out at basketball camp the other day and had a seizure and she had to have brain surgery and the doctors are saying she prolly wont make it. This song really speaks to me. I hope/pray to god she will be ok. We just have to believe... I love you Rachel Collins! I hope you make it through!!!!!!!!!!!! Please dear lord let this sweet girl through this, She is only 13 she dont need to die yet Lord.....
