It's obvious you're just trying to promote your anti-Infinity Ward agenda. Most of what you said about MW2 was flat out wrong and made up, and it seems as though you are in denial of how bad Black Ops actually was. The most ridiculous statement "This is basically just a retextured MW2" Are you high? Go play MW2 and tell me how this game is in any way similar. One would think that retexturing a game wouldn't make it WORSE.
MW3 is a retextured version of Black Ops more than anything.
@btj89 I agree that black ops has it's flaws like every other call of duty does but I can appreciate that treyarch made black ops very balanced in my opinion which for some reason a lot of people didn't enjoy. What I'm trying to say is that treyarch seems to be trying to push the call of duty franchise into a new and better place while infinity ward is more than content to keep it the same.
@xPowers13 People didn't enjoy it because everything was bland. The guns had no recoil and all sounded the same. People would bitch and moan about some gun being overpowered because they got killed by it all the time, when in reality it's their own fault apart from the ever-too-common hit detection issues that Treyarch NEVER fixed, mind you. So what did they do? Nerf guns to make them 'balanced'- i.e. all the SAME.
@btj89 personally i care less about the sound a gun makes then an overall well polished game. id take "bland" over the state mw3 is in right now any day. the idea of balance comes from guns having similar features and some more suited for particular situations. in mw3 most shotguns are useless and there are some arguably op guns. i think treyarch got it right in terms of balance
@btj89 And my comment about mw3 being very similar to mw2 was simply a personal opinion and I know that many people will see what I see in this game. I can appreciate where you're coming from with your comment but I can't shake the feeling that infinity ward consistently brings the same game to consumers and rarely tweaks any issues that these games contain. Thanks for the comment and putting in your two cents
@btj89 and after watching the video again the only things i said about mw2 was that the spawns were bad and that infinity ward did very little to correct issues. The fact that treyarch listens to the community and fixes issues more than infinity ward is irrefutable and spawns being good or bad is completely subjective in nature, and to say that an opinion is made up and flat out wrong seems a little assumptive and pretentious.
@xPowers13 Spawns in MW2 were not bad. And they were no worse than Black Ops spawns. Both of those do not compare to the horrible spawns of MW3. And don't dismiss the spawn trapping in Black Ops as fake. Not sure how you can 'fake' a spawn.
You seem to be equating more small fixes to doing a better job of 'listening to the community (whine and complain)'. Saying Infinity Ward did very little to correct issues IS a flat out lie. What issues were never corrected? They did fix their issues.
@btj89 in my opinion they were bad and i agree that they are at an all time low in mw3. the faking was coming from some ps3 users who created accounts just to be used for the sole purpose of being on one team and dying repeatedly to allow the other team to get high kill games and some nice footage. small fixes is what it takes to make a game better. few developers will ever sink huge amounts of money into doing a complete game overhaul. any issues they corrected took a huge community outcry
The problem is this game is just unpolished. It needs a lot of work but when have you ever seen Infinity Ward do major patches to fix major problems like this? It's a 70 dollar map pack for MW2, which wasn't the worst thing because MW2 was good but theres more problems with this game than there was with MW2. Personally I've just moved on to better things; sticking to starcraft for a while at least until another interesting shooter comes out
@shootingNmissing i know exactly what you mean man. i think black ops did a much better job of balance and then everyone started complaining that the game is too balanced.

@xPowers13 You do realize you are complaining about spawns in a game of capture the flag, right? What, you want to spawn on the enemy flag?
btj89 1 month ago
@btj89 there has to be a point where the spawns get randomized so you dont spawn directly in front of an enemy. even spawn protection would work.
