SUPERHERO- good superhero=successful rescue bad superhero=failed rescue

The episode would have been better if the scene had been a failed rescue attempt and Wonder Woman had been captured and hypnotized by Hamlin Rule and was forced to commit crimes for him.

@360whiplash -That would have been a great idea and WW could then be the one "stealing" all those concerts for Rule. Plus, "Steve" could finally have been the hero of the day by helping WW break the hypnotic spell and help capture Hamlin.

@angelzr The writers back then lacked a good imagination. There were plenty of scenes in this episode in which WW could have been captured and enslaved by Hamlin Rule. He had the technology to hypnotize & control women and get them to commit crimes for him but he never made any attempt to do the same with WW. It would have been a really great 2 part episode in which WW is successfully hypnotized and becomes Rule's bodyguard & enforcer and is forced to commit robberies for him like a loyal slave.

@360whiplash - Well "the writing" on the show was weak at best and some episodes could have been improved by twicking them but their "budget" probably would not allow it. Plus, the writers were probably asked to tone down the sexual inuando from the 1st season on ABC.

@angelzr Yeah there were too many episodes during the last 2 seasons that would have been alot better if the outcome or storylines would have been different. Like in this episode, there were too many times in which WW could have easily been captured & hypnotized but the idiot writers back then never included it in the storyline to make things more interesting. It would have been great to have seen her in a helpless or powerless position or KO'ed more often during the last 2 seasons.

@360whiplash- Could have, should have is a moot point. Though, that does not stop "Fans" from letting their imaginations run wild. The truth is the show is NOT as great as my childhood's mind recalls it. The only saving grace is Lynda Carter herself and maybe three or four episdes out of three seasons. Go figure.

@angelzr Totally agree. Giving Steve something more to do once in a while would have made the show a lot more exciting.
