  • Love this song and game

  • It's so gratifying to beat the damn twin fire serpents on hard mode without taking a hit.

  • The one song that I always remember in gradius 3.

  • this is epic

  • Where can u download this from??

  • @KyleGibbons91 Rotate Option is as good as it gets, homeboy.

  • @SkellionPowalskiz Rotate option is so damn good, especially when you can increase the radius after you get all 4 options.

  • f option stand for force

  • @KyleGibbons91 I thought the F stood for Fixed Option

  • The Arwing can take temps up to 10,000 degrees!

  • 100000000000000000000000000000000000/10.

  • just perfect!!!!

  • Superhero has no clue what he's talkin about. Almost all the snes tracks sound like shit compared to the arcade original. Sample based chips are inferior to fm and sample chips in terms of versatility and high range of sounds.

  • @shalpp It's all a matter of opinion.

  • @shalpp Nobody gives a fuck about tech junkie bullshit like that, if it sounds good, it is good, take your crap somewhere else.

  • A prime example of you being mad because you can't come up with a decent rebuttal.

Am I saying I don't think they're good? No. Compared to the arcade though they're nowhere near as close save a few tracks.

  • @shalpp There is no damn rebuttal, you're saying that a different version of a game is "technically" superior, that may be an opinion supported by facts, but it's still an opinion, maybe I wouldn't have gotten so irritated if you weren't being so ignorant. It's pretty obvious that some people like this music, whether or not it's technologically superior notwithstanding.

Once again, that's your opinion, stop trying to pass it off as fact and pushing it on others.

  • @shalpp

Ridiculous, this sounds FAR superior to the arcade. Crystal clear highs and lows, evil electronica, there is no comparison. The music composition comes from the arcade though, whos sound hardware is closer to the Sega Genesis, ie far inferior. Thats not to say the arcades music is not good, it is, but this is how it was meant to sound in the first place!

  • If this were made with better samples and had a closer composition then it could've been as good or better than the arcade. Look at parodius.

  • Fireballs of rape comin' at ya nonstop and the first option hunter of the game. It's a short but ruthless stage. A twin headed dragon awaits you at the end. Shoot it in the head!

  • Music from the Arcade version is TERRIBLE! This song is how HUGE of a difference the soundchip from the SNES made. Love Gradius 3 SNES musics!!!

  • nice XD

  • after you kill the two-headed bastards they explode and can still take ya out

  • @NoelLozano Even in my prime, this was the boss that still gave me some trouble, lol!

  • Great tune but the arcade version is so much better.

  • @METAL1ON Except on the fire stage in the arcade all you do is die. Over and over again.

  • @DrJohnCockwalrus Only if you use spread bomb just be calm with the level and its ok.

  • @METAL1ON I thought I was good at Gradius III growing up, because I can beat the SNES version on Hard without losing a life. Little did I know how much of a Gradius 3 Noob I actually was.

To me, the arcade version is an extremely well-done game, but it's far, far too difficult for all but the incredibly obsessed shmup gods. I think Konami went overboard, like what they did with Haunted Castle in '87. Difference between the two, of course, is that Haunted Castle sucks. :)

  • @DrJohnCockwalrus I'm still stuck on the Moai level on the Gradius Collection version of this, too damn hard.

  • Those twin dragon bastards were a bitch. Options helped a lot. :)

  • the boss aint so badass even through hard mode. but in hard mode be sure your in the circle cause the Altron will rapidfirely at you when your outside of it if it forms circle. Serious and cool bgm.

  • Stupid lava rocks >.> Always surprising me and killing me... Great song though ^_^

  • i like this one so much more than the original. just sounds like hell, perfect for the level ^_^

  • up,up,down, down, left, right, left, right,b,a,start aaahhhh good old times oooohhhh wait i still play it lol ._.

  • I remember one time killing the last boss and getting killed by its body part flying into me. I got so pissed haha.

  • This song has always been awesome

  • Love this music

  • I've only gotten to the part where you have to fight bosses one at a time. like if you beat one another comes at u until i lost

  • SHOOT THE CHEST!

  • Really helps to have rolling option and E.Laser for this boss. Not so much the option hunter though.

  • @KyuubiNaruto41

I also use the Falcon(?) formation, and keep the formation spread out until the option hunter comes. Pretty much like a bull and the red cape kind of thing. :D

  • Hated the option hunter on this stage cause sometimes you JUST CAN'T MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!!!!! haha good times....

  • im an expert at this game. beaten it on all the modes, and kept playing when it restarted me on the hardest mode, and everytime you beat, it actually gets harder. they add more bulets to enemy shots, so about the 3rd time through, they shoot 5 bullets at a time at you. plus they move much faster, and shoot faster. its insanity.

  • the music of this pwns the arcade version of this

  • fire scrabble

OK SO I PUT DOWN XEVIOUS OH HAY I JUST GOT 59 BONUS POINTS ON TEH BOARD

  • i love this music n the one 4 the stage 6 :D

  • Having all these fireballs just scream at you. Makes you think this is the hardest level. Well maybe not but yeah Supersoniccontrol. It's a bitch without items and options. Without those the dtage is just hideously tough.

  • Well, it's a good thing this level is short....

  • I love the part at 1:11.

  • I'll have a go at MIDIfying this for you. It won't be done until after Christmas because you know? I'll probably be too busy lolz.

  • Good TUK.

  • The twin fire serpents were a pain in the dick when they encircled you and shot fire too.

  • I actually used against that boss, I went inside the circle during the fight. If you recall if you killed him his pieces went flying at you, a cause of many failed levels and games for me. While in the circle and if you killed him, the pieces went flying away.

  • @jimbostube2 lol that was the easiest way to kill them...

  • @jimbostube2 Hilarious that the most dangerous that boss gets is when you kill it.

  • 5/5*

  • I love this stages song
