what kind of kiln is that? and i dont want to sound rude, but how much does that kiln cost? I am very interested in getting started making marbles. Thanks.
It is a kiln that was in a shop I worked in part time....I can't remember the brand...
Any Kiln for Glass or Ceramics that can get up to 1300+ degrees F will work...
In my own workshop I have an "Aim" brand kiln , model# 9169GS/D, with digital controller, and it is front loading with a cantilevered door and 4 little doors that open to enable things on handles to be kept warm...I really prefer my Aim Kiln, and it is much better for glassworking....I paid $1,100 for it about 6 or 7 years ago....
Do you flatten the holding rod at 2:04 because it breaks clean when you are done?

That was a kiln...like an oven....1025 degrees "F"....it is for annealing the glass(tempering//hardening)and cooling it evenly and slowly.

My old kiln was not nearly as nice, but was still quite effective...
