I didn't really see anything special. Marines do that in there sleep. Lol. Why doesn't the army just teach all of there soldiers that like the Marine Corps. I'm sure it'd come in handy.
@Northeastbaseball thats not all true, the NG is responsible for hosting their own Air Assault School consisting of foreign nationals RA, NG and Reserves from all branches. In fact the majority of the students that come through are active duty. I know this because i work on the compound that also host RTAC, COMBATIVES, PREMASTER GUNNER, PATHFINDER. To which the RA supports all the way and sends large numbers of their soldiers. check it out its legit on Ft. Benning
Go for it man. I'm doing the exact same and I'm making good progress. About 20 more pounds and I'll feel confident that I can get through Basic. If I can do it, I bet you can, too.

Im joining the guard and I might do the "Go active first" option, that way you can do 2 yrs active duty and then go to regular guard duty/reserve

Hey buddy all National Guard soldiers go thru the Active Duty Army training schools
To say that National Guard members arent real soldiers is a load of bs
