  • it is Medieval Music, of course with the means musicians got nowadays... that includes drum computers, synthesizers or keyboards...that doesn't make it techno

and, yes, their songs sometime have rock elements that's why they are also counted to Mittelalter Rock which basicly is a german sub-genre for folk metal/rock

  • Lulz Good!

  • It more often is called "Mittelalter Folk Rock", but it here has its insertion with techno. You may also call it a medievil form of the Gothic scene. It is not really Techno for the most parts.

  • Music is hard to categorise, but I think I'd call this more "folk industrial" than anything else... I have no idea. XD

  • Indeed, it has some industrial a like sounds. But there are also some techno sounds in it.

But how close are techno and industrial realated? Is it like folkmetal and celticmetal, or as metal and jump, 2, very different genres?

  • Techno and industrial are... I think, for me, the main difference is the general type of electronic sound. Also, on average, industrial has more human element in the foreground than techno, but not always.

Techno sounds tend to be more... Beeps and voice box distortions, if you will. Even though the beeping thing is more very early electronic genres. XD; I'm not sure how to explain it otherwise. The electronic sounds in industrial are harder, grittier, and heavier.
