Read Exodus 21:22-23. The Jewish interpretation says that if a woman loses her fruit but survives, there is no murder, but if the woman dies, then the man responsible has to give "life for life" because of her murder. The killing of an unborn child is not punishable by death. Read Exodus 21:12. The charge of murder should be used for death of a human. The fetus must have a status below that of human. Is there another Bible passage that says the soul enters the person before birth? Thanks.

The correct commandment in the bible is thou shall not murder. It is not thou shall not kill. Abortion is murder. Killing is not a sin in certain cases, as in self defense or fighting in a war to defend a country. Execution is not murder. Execution is the duty of a just government court system to execute convicted murderers, rapists and pedifiles and abortionists and women who murder their own babies.

Oh, by the way, in response to the guys question, "who adopts all those babies?" There are 100,000s of people in the U.S. trying to adopt babies. My family couldn't adopt in the U.S. and we have adopted two babies from China. I know plenty of people who have adopted babies including my aunt and uncle.

i will have to say that when we talk to people, it's best not to argue and talk at the same time. I don't think that that man's opinion was changed by that conversation. If he had been aproached in a more calm and loving way, things could have been better... I do appreciate some of what you told him though.

A fetus cannot have rights because it hasn't a 'right to be born', since no one has the right to the use of anothers body. Birth is given, not taken. It's privilege, not right.

The guy called himself a believer in a god (though he didn't say that he believed in the God of the Bible), it isn't our job to judge if beliefs such as abortion are pivotal (since the Bible doesn't say it directly).
