You are the only other guy in the world that I know of that bought the Gibson SG3. I also play Jacob's ladder as a song in my medley that I entertain myself with occasionaly. Your medley of songs in general seem to be all of the songs that I play, and have played since they where released by RUSH. Its good to see the next generation of rockers an rollers carry the torch. Keep rockin young dude. Don't forget to teach your kids about the greatest music ever made.
I remember being in a guitar center about a year ago and there are always teenagers plugged up to the amps. One kid with a mohawk probably around 16 that looked like the singer for Racid was playing nothing but Rush songs. That was kind of surprising.
Bravo ! Your performance deserves full respect from all of us, quite accurate and nicely done, and we all know that solo is very meticulous and full of energy and takes even higher notes to get it right, and as I told SeveerTrebor some months ago, it might sound easier than we think but it does take practice, feeling and emotion in order to recreate the armony of that beautiful solo that King Lerxst wrote many years ago, but anyway 5 stars out of 5, congatulations from the caves of ice ...
Not bad--IMHO, your playing is WAY too staccato towards the end. Alex plays it totally legato which is the secret to it flowing so well. Also, what chords were you playing at the end, when Geddy sings the "Follow men's eyes. . ." part? They didn't work, whatever chords they were.
GREAT Job ! In my opinion, definitely the most underated Song by RUSH. It is a guitarists song for sure, and showcases Lifesons style through the 80s. Which was Long, Hard , Punchy, Free Flowing Power Chords with Unique Texture and Timing. Ive heard this song is tougher to play than it sounds, is that true ?
Thanks! It's somewhat tough to play. The timing at the beginning is kinda hard. I can't imagine how Geddy can sing and play that bass line at the same time.
What i luv is your Tone is Fantastic ! a bit fuzzy and raw, gives this tune a GREAT sound ! this is definitely in my opinion a song that cant have that 'clean sound, that so many play it with, lessens its punch, its gotta sound a lil aggressive and throaty sound. I definitely want to learn to play this.

I know. There's one chord in the end section that's wrong.

where's the "WAY staccato" everything sounds pretty tight to me? isn't the "follow men's eyes..." A(x4) B(sus2)
B(sus2) B(sus2) B(sus2) F# (x5) Barred E....?
