  • Now it is easy to make a PowerPoint presentation and convert it into a .WMV, which you can upload to YouTube! I am going this opportunity to upload a variety of videos that wasn't possible with Microsoft Paint.

  • To make a Powerpoint WMV, open PowerPoint, go the the File tab and go on the left to the Save & Send tab. Go to File Types and click Create a Video. I have this in Powerpoint 2010.

  • @nxr064: That is useful information that I didn't know. Thanks!

  • @dogman15 I haven't seen this PowerPoint 2007. In PowerPoint 2007, this is know as the Office button but doesn't come with the many features in the 2010 version. In PowerPoint 2010, this feature is called Office Backstage and comes with more direct information about the file and how to save it.

  • You cannot put mulitple transitions in 1 slide and change the timing. Am I right?

  • @nxr064: I don't know. I'm not an expert with PowerPoint. I don't see why you'd want more than one transition between slides. That gets kind of complicated, doesn't it?

  • Will you accept my video response?

  • @nxr064: I already did. Good job on that video.

  • The "click" and "coin" sounds ARE supposed to sync together.

  • @nxr064: Oh, like, the coin hits the surface and then it immediately rattles around. I get it.

  • I have Microsoft Office 2010 and I don't have the "MEDIA" folder anymore. SO I don't know why Powerpoint isn't playing most of the sounds. That's why I asked for you to do another video with the sounds slowly. I can't them on my computer and I don't want to do System Restore. I have YouTube Downloader, so I can just get the sounds on Movie Maker.

  • Come you do "click" slowly? I didn't quite get that one.

  • @nxr064: Here's how I made this video's audio: I created a quick playlist in Windows Media Player of all of the .WAV files of these sound effects. I played them all in a row on my laptop, using an audio cord and Audacity on a second computer to record the output. I think I may have done some sound separating with Audacity at that point, but I'm sorry that the "click" and "coin" sounds are so close together.

  • If you have a Windows computer, try going to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\MEDIA\click.wav

You may find the sound there.

  • @nxr064: In fact, you should be able to paste that filename pathway into your Internet Explorer address bar.

  • dude omg thanks didnt know the names!

  • Ha ha, dude, you're a champion! Thanks for this :)

  • @ladgrove85: You're welcome!
