he aint sayin nothin new nothin new he not sayin nothin new see I know what he going to say before he run his lyric's threw more lies and more lies yep line after line after line after line
@MissCedarbridge1 lies, what's funny, is that this is his 13th album, when you make it as far as he has, aint nothing new to say, he's done it all, and did it twice, like this right here son!
@Freakmidget07 LL cool J sucks any rapper can keep on rapping that bull LL never been a top rapper no matter what you LL cock sucking fans say LL weak and will always be
@MissCedarbridge1 yes, that's why he's had a handful of platinum albums, and gold of course, haha, damn he sucks, damn, that's why eminem, krs one, dr dre, and 50 cent along with many others say they look up to him, and made fun of canibus when he tried to take out ll, who's canibus? exactly, ll made sure no one would ever kno who he was ever again!
If a Task is once begun, Never leave Until it's Done. Be the labor Great or Small, Do it Well or Not at all. Yes! You're still Hot!!! haha. Thanks! Blessings, ~Andree' Smith
@bloodbather88 But a lot have done this. He borrowed the hook line from Biggie. Biggie used the "Damn it feels good to see people up on it" from Biz Markie's "The Vapors." De La splashed "Ego Trippin Part 2" with a lot of classic lines, as did KRS in his "Hip-Hop vs. Rap" b-side. Sometimes, borrowing a line from memory can lead an artist/MC to emit memorable lines of his or her own. I see your point about it wearing thin when it doesn't come out right.
@02Stratus Yeah I don't mind it when it's done well, though I do have a personal preference that I'd be less likely to consider it biting if they mention the original artist somewhere in the track (that's an old debate of course). It's just when you take a line that was expertly written for a specific flow, and then recite it and it sounds like garbage, it's almost like you're spitting on the person you're supposedly paying homage to.
@bloodbather88 That makes a lot of sense. In rap/hip-hop especially, it's a more direct and up front style of music in the traditional sense. MCs and producers getting named off without care. For all of the spitting that's been done on him, this hook (which you argued quite well), speaks on how legendary Biggie's lines still are 13 years after he died. The line borrowing is a touchy issue, and your preference is very much justified.
