  • The 1st Gen came in 2 series.

the SA22c (79/80) and FB33 which was after till 85

  • Sorry its a first generation rx7. In the US its called the FB, the second gen FC and the third the FD. Ive had a FB back in 1980 and now have a 94 FD....

  • that isn't first gen, it's second gen. first gen is a SA.

  • @dondebest sa/fb same thing

  • No, maybe a cousin, LOL....

  • is that james may from top gear

  • i like the Maz1986 licence plate ...

  • the us cars had those storage bins not back seats. The rhd cars had tiny back seats with no bins.

  • lol back seats? whats he talking about i own an old FB no backseats in mine

  • I want to hear him say Suckering Suckertash!

  • Lol, "green car" my motherfucking ass. These things burn oil and gas like a leaky 454 with dual quads. They are bad ass, though, and I wouldn't hesitate to get an FB if the right opportunity arose.

  • mine does good on fuel must just be his model ahah

  • these are great cars, i own one but plan on replacing your seals around 80k miles, cause thats when they go lol, i bought mine when it was shot and did the ls1 conversion!

  • rotarys guzzle gas but theyll pull like a fucking street bike

  • Fuel bill - meaning that it doesnt get good gas mileage.

  • fuel bill will be high?

  • keep the dream alive

  • it has 82/ 83 interior, with an 84 85 steering wheel with 85 se rims, with 1986 plates lol

  • @zimninski Wrong!!!,

    do some research kiddo. =P

  • nice Car!! i have the same...it is 25 years old now, and it still rocks !!

  • why does the plates say 1986? this car is a 1980 to 1982 model but with 84 to 85 wheels? bah it dosent drink as much gas as today's F150's or gmc trucks and if ppl can afford those big heavy pointless trucks, then these cars are pocket change.

  • maybe dat jusshappens to be the plate number lolz jk jk jk jk

  • they get horrible milage just as bad as a f150 i have one i love it but cant afford to drive

  • This car was one of the last built to 1985 UK spec, and first registered in March 1986, hence the MAZ1986 reg. It used to have a C (1985-1986) registration. It was a great day filming this short review.

  • @dcmxv so wjy the 79-83 dash??

  • @rotarycorvette1 - Old style facia was retained for all RHD models after 83. It does have a LHD spec 84-85 steering wheel. Car specs differred between US and UK

  • Comment removed

  • @rotarycorvette1 yeah. wtf is this thing! looks like a GSL-SE everywhere other than the dash and console which looks like a 83

  • HAHA! lol

"If you're gonna' own one, you better have deep pockets."

I'm a broke ass courtesy clerk, and I've got a '79 with the rich running thermal reactor engine. GUZZLE GUZZLE GUZZLE! lol, but I just don't care because that little champ is simply brilliant!
