When the US military doesn't get what they want they go to war with the help and support of our elected officials. The Founding Fathers of the United States would hang our generals and politicians for these actions in their day, according to US constitution, acts of war are only allowed for defending the country after a direct attack, for no other reason is the US allowed to go to war under our own laws.
