  • problemas en la ritmica!!

  • he uses his first finger as a pick in the beginning...idk how though...

  • Quanto bel tempo sprecato...ridicolo...questa non è La chitarra classica grazie al cielo...

  • This is amazing, but I almost think he's playing it TOO FAST. it's so freaking fast that sometimes I lose track of where he is in the song even though I know the piece well.

  • @Hultan70 I haven't even started!

    ..NO POINT !..:D

  • ITS FUCKING AMAZING!!!!!!!!

  • I think my guitar is broken, it does not do that :P

  • Is that a spider at his guitar fret?

  • YEAAAH GO GREEK PEOPLE.

  • Press 10 to see a dumbshit

  • wow! shitload faster than a real bumblebee.more like a (toma)hawk.

  • @Hultan70 ditto

  • Essa música se chama: a mosca posando no cocô.

  • great technique!

  • Fantastico!

  • please give him an electric guitar

  • Wow....

  • @Hultan70 yeah quit, music is not speed and it seems that you did not understand this very basic point, so yes, quitting for you is a good idea.

  • This should be on guitar hero!! XD

  • The best I've heard/seen yet!!!

  • One of the best quitar players in the galaxy

  • Y 18 PENDEJOS LE HAN DADO NO ME GUSTA .. QUE SOQUETES.

  • You are fucking good dude, and now i'll go pratice. D:

  • well, after being mind rocked, i decided that finger picking and flight of the bumblebee is a little out of my talent range.

  • Can somebody send to me via my email hafif@gmx.com this score?

    Sorry for my english

  • Sweep Picking? Tapping? Alternate Picking? Bullshit... Finger Picking fuckin rocks! xD

  • @Hultan70 If you play the guitar to impress others, you play for the wrong reason, my friend.

  • You should quit if your only reason to play is to play faster than this gentlemen. But if you play because you love classical guitar and classical music, then this gentleman should give you more reason to play.

  • He once fingered a woman, She died.

  • @Hultan70 that's something I always think when I am watching Kotronakis or Paco de Lucia.

  • com otoca asi sin pua y sin distorsion? :S sin un mástil fino?: S

  • Cool

  • 17 people who dislike it are electric-guitar players who can't pay it so fast, even whith a pick.. i feel sorry for you guys.........

  • circus CLOWN....Medrano....

  • My goodness! That's bloody insane! Super, super clean presentation and ripping good control.

    Mind boggling.

  • Saw and heard him playing today- not the Bumblebee, but still fantastic!!

  • In my opinion, Mr Dimitris achieve the meaning of the piece, it really sounds like a bumblebee flying around me, and of course the magic of guitar instead of piano brings that sonority.

    Fantastic work.

  • this is the best by far. i am not surprised.....he is one of the many talented Greeks.

  • There were two things that stood out to me. The first one was when he first started, kinda out of no where. The second part is when his face is very close to the neck and seeing him watch his own fingers as if he was part of the audience was funny and cool to me.

  • definitely using all of his fingers :)

  • this is just fab, fab, and fabulous!!!

  • gitarı yemiş... eat the guitar..

  • his right hand technique is fucking amazing..

  • Can anybody see what technique is he using? At some moments he seems to be playing with the "i" finger only-like with a pick

  • this man sold his soul to the devil

  • don virtuosso

  • WOW. He's faster and cleaner than Alexander Vynograd.

  • WTF??

  • the BEST instrument for this piece, actually sounds like a bee

  • great! wow!

  • OMG what was I playing?!?!?!?!

  • this is perfect

  • @ioldarnech

This is what he does. I don't know how ;)

  • only this man can out do the pick of destiny, with his own fingers!!

  • @volgg lol indeed

  • Dimitris is a pure talent and a hard worker. He is a progressive innovator of technique and one of Greece's Top classical guitarists. I ve seen him live..

he used to play one particular piece (can't remember, though) only with his left hand.! Man the audience stared like dummies. He is Excellent and a very nice guy, too.

  • he is amazing! i have seen him playing live, he is an innovator! great guitar playing!

malibu35072....yes, he is not that young, which means that he was playing even better, cause you see dexterity is not something that becomes better by the years, after some age it falls...and no one can play like that just because he studied for hours, if you think it is possible, do it yourself :P . i have seen people trying hard without making it, because it needs talent ; )

  • Fuck!!!!

  • Praise God!

    What a talent.

  • No offense intended here but God had very little to do with his skill. I don't disagree with god, but rather that concept that "Talent" is something magical.

This is not a miracle its an achievement. Talent is the result of endless hours of hard, hard work.

Given his age, surely that man has practiced over 20,000 hours... THAT is about 95% of the reason he is so good.

  • not necessary ... maybe this guy has good memory and dexterity ..u can t obtain this result even from 50.000 hours of playing if u don t have patience (btw patience itself is a talent try obtaining that with u re so called hard work) i think u should take a better look at life u seem to be a constant downer so cheer up ...peace^_^

  • I'm not trying to be a downer. I'm a visual artist myself. I know what it takes to be good though, and that's is hard hard work.

I just work to dispel the myth that being good is somehow magical. By doing so it makes things more accessible. I'm saying his isn't somehow more lucky then you. You too can be that good, if you put in the hard work.

Makes me feel better, because I don't walk around feeling like a magical talented god of art.

  • yes but god has given him the gift of the talent. most of us no matter how much we practiced could not do that

  • @malibu35072 Practice nurtures natural talent. If you're not born with the "magic" I don't care how much of your life you waste practicing. Hard work is essential, but a natural aptitude is also necessary. I can't draw at all. I could spend years taking classes and studying how to draw and improve, but some natural 7 year old artist would easily smoke me.

  • @malibu35072 cuz of course god gave him this talent retard. god has nothing to do with this? shutup

  • @malibu35072 (I'd just like to add that people do have natural inclinations towards certain skills... he may have spent most of his life fanning that flame, but the spark had to have been there from the beginning. Talent is not the result of endless hours of hard work, skill is. And that's what happens when you invest your God-given talent to help it grow.)

  • excellent playing

  • @MagyarRockerHonved you're making urself look stupid, saying that classical guitar is for pussys..

I'm not saying that bass guitar suck, I'm a musician too (guitar major) so it's normal for me to play electric and bass guitar and I love playing those instruments..

but the point is, how dare you say that thing about classical guitar?! you're just showing to everyone that u know nothing about music, know your instrument, before you say something stupid to other instruments..*sorry dude..

  • Unless he dropped the guitar or something and I didn't realize it, I don't see how this performance would rate anything LESS than 5 stars!!!

And yet it rated only 4.5 stars with a 166 ratings....WTF, ppl?????

  • inhuman...

  • Rimsky Korsakov would have smiled. 5 stars!

  • and the other parts are sound like violin .. perfect!

  • some of the part sounds like a piano! amazing ..

  • great!

  • very good but the sound of the guitar is not very clear

  • muito fera.. ele é bom demais..

meu sonho é tocar igual a ele um dia..

    muito show..

  • oh My God!!!!

  • great !

  • just speed!

  • bravoo

  • left hand is normal...right hand is like SUPER FAST.. and he is not using a PICK!

  • that makes it easier. fingerpicking can go sooo much faster...

  • Indeed! :)

  • Comment removed

  • a pick??!!...man this is classical guitar, in this case a pick is for pussys

  • well I was saying because pick is only for some electric guitar techniques, if you play classic it has to be with fingers, but yeah, bass guitar is cool too :)

  • Playing any type of guitar doesn't make you become anything. Time to grow up, wouldn't you say?

  • @sr1215cl Take a joke , will ya ???

  • can u do that with a bass guitar?

  • @phonebush i can't YET . but there are some people who could do it .

  • @Vguitar777 -)

  • @Vguitar777 Classical or SPANISH guitar... in fact, "guitar" comes from "guitarra"...

  • Nice, that's an improvement even on the other clip of you doin it which was pretty good to begin with!

  • apisteytos!!!!

  • crazy....very fantastic!!!!!!

  • woooow!

  • erotac ine o anthropoc dn pezete

  • es mortal como afloja los dedos al principio

  • with great pleasure and joy i see that this Greek guitarist is faster than any one in here. . . but if you guys check his channel you will discover that he is one of the most talented guitarists today, in all aspects.

    eyge dimitri se thavmazo.

  • what a deal for the devil!

  • Amazing, simply amazing

  • fovero!!!!!!!!!!

  • Omg! Please, playing classical Guitar is not an olympic discipline. No matter how impressive, this video is, it shows in a very good way, that speed isn t everything. Play this clean and musically expressive (wich is impossible i quess) then its great but at this way he only shows how music can be misunderstood.

  • EsimCan, What do you exactly mean? Have you heard about Paco de Lucia?

What do you thing, that Paco does not respect of music?

There's a Greek phrase which says that things you can not get, seem to be the ones you laugh about!

  • I am sick of nay-sayers such as "EsimCan" proclaiming that "speed isn't everything". It is as integral a part of music as any. This piece is a staple of classical music. Are you questioning the musical integrity of master Rimsky-Korsakov? Cannot one be allowed to play this piece on any instrument one so chooses? Mustn't one possess the technical ability to play whatever any piece might demand? In my experience, those who don't possess this ability spurn those who do. Dare I say "EsimCAN'T"!

  • @EsimCan

I don't think this video gonna make any misunderstanding thing at all, I can feel that he did the best musical as he can, You are right on he should make it more clean and musically, but this one he did playing better than another one, just because of this song did not composed for guitar so then it very difficult to play legato in this kind of running scale . but if you wanna play it you can't even play it slower also ,

  • @EsimCan . Sorry This song can't play slow and he really did a good job, no matter can't not compare with Marsalis

  • it looks like you alternate with your index finger like renaissance lute&vihuela players did. How do you keep your tone consistent (if you actually do alternate)?

  • ioldarnech, That's something to consider about. Actually, it's not me playing ;)

  • @F1spa that's exactly what he's doing. we have an interview with him right here:

check it out! he talks about his unique technical innovations

  • @F1spa That's exactly what he's doing. I know because we had an interview with him last year.

    goo. gl/QKRp

  • it takes practice, i alternate my middle and index when i play things like that. but i still cant do the treble where you use 3 fingers... it really takes patience and practice. i also kinda notice that people who learns playing the guitar with picks (usually the ones that play electric and acoustic) have a hard time doing it :D

  • I'm not talking about standard classical style i-m plucking but using the index alone in alternate motion. The opening phrase really looks like he's using only the index, I can't see the m finger moving.

I don't know if it's even possible to reach such speeds with i-m alone.

  • ohhyaa!!! i see what you mean!! apparently it looks like his using index as something like a pick. you get what im saying? his pluking it upward and downward.... something like that.

  • Yes, it's the original lute technique by the way, along with p-i plucking. I've never seen guitar players using though, hence my question.

  • Totally Sick!

  • I can't hear what's happening.

  • What do you mean?

  • teach me master

  • Bravissimo

  • He's not human.

    Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Unbelievable.

  • An encore? You mean, he went out and the clapping did not stop and he came back in and played this?

  • Sorry for the delay. Yeah, exactly that!

  • Holy shit.

  • AMAZING

  • wow thats awesome
