I hope the next iPhone records in HD.. In fact I'm pretty sure it will. The current iPhone is actually capable of recording HD but it has been disabled in the software. I wonder if someone is gonna release a jailbreak app to enable it...
Anywhoozle, in order for the iPhone to do HD it has to be 30fps and the lighting has to be better than this video.. The omnia HD is a good example for other phones, but the video isn't perfect yet.
video quality is great, 1280 x 720 24FPS is good enough dont forget this is only a mobile phone not a pro-camcorder lol, camcorders now are only starting to record in full hd 30fps, so mobile phones can only get better.
Why are people comparing the N95 video quality against this lol, this is in a different league as said the N95 does 640x480 and the hd does 1280x720 so double the resolution.
Hell the LG viewty that came out last year did 640x480 and that can be had for £50 lol.
I own the N95, all the video's on my page are filmed on it. The video quality is good for N95, but not HD. The only thing I believe better in vid quality is the sound compared to Omnia HD, im getting the HD soon.
Samsung Wave can do better than this.

lots of skipped frames.
Too much stutter/lag. No where near the smoothness of Nokia N95 and that was old...

The Nokia N95 has up to 640 x 480 resolutiong, with 30fps, you can change the settings on the Omnia to the same, you know?
Now, the HD videos are taken in 1280 x 720 resolution- NO other phone does that right now.
So just shut your yap, and go back to your own phone.

Add to that, that the Omnia has a 720X480 mode at 30fps! Not just 640X480!
Yes there is some jerkiness on the videos, but oh well, it is great if you don't pan much!

how does the phone react to touch input??...i mean is it a fluent thing or are there lags when u tap something? oh and how is the browser?
im absolutely gonna get it IF it runs fluently and the browser is fine!
