Basenjis Love Bath Towels

OH yes my male Basenji Zuri loves to roll in my wet towel and rub his head in my wet hair he is an absolute nut when he does this.

my basenji Lola does this! Both of my B's lick the bath mat & our legs when we get out of the shower. Lola jumps to pull our towels down and flops on her back to roll on it, too funny

One of my basenjis likes to rub against my hair after I've showered. I'm assuming he liked the smell of my shampoo. He's very cute about it.

My basenji did the same thing to wet towels but the wet towels were wrapped around me after a shower so i had to keep pushing him off of me.lol. r.i.p winterboy.

I used to lay on the bed after a shower and outs would literally throw himself against my wet hair and rub into me. I'd be laughing so hard as it's just one of their bizarre behaviors.

There must be tons of smells for your dog to explore on that towel, having been in intimate contact with your body. It's like a goldmine of olfactory information and they just want to explore it and get it all over them! :D

it's part of the mutual grooming thing Basenjis do to each other. Particularly when they are wet.Mine also like used socks.

My mix breed, she's 50% Basenji, does the same thing. You can tell whats dominat in the breed!

Mine only does this to dirty towels, clothes and shoes. She gets her face into the shoe and rubs into it. Its so weird, I've watched dogs do this to dirt, but my basenji does this to human things.

he licks my back while im asleep, he sings, he rolls on towels, he likes silky panites and likes to lick spit lol

Lol my Basenji does the same thing when i am doing laundry he leaps into the clothes and starts flipping around and rubbing all over them,i wonder if the rubbing is specific to basenjis,B,s are so adorable!

myyyy basenji does that too; anything that's wet; even if my hair's still wet he'll try and rub himself on it - but wet towels are his favorite =)

I have 2 basenjis and they love towels, they roll on them and run through the house with them. I have to fold them in a way that they cant reach them if i do not want them to use them.
