Raocow, if you mapped "down" to a button on your controller instead of the pad, and mapped down on your pad to nothing, that might solve your control problems. Also, that looked nothing like Patchouli.

Incidentally, for those who are curious, the new (secret, I guess?) character for the alternate exits is Patchouli. I believe Koakuma is her assistant.

The normal exit character is a child Koakuma, the secret exit is adult Koakuma. The premise of the game is that Marisa is trying to save a kidnapped Patchy.

Geez, those act like hammers? That seems... really unintuitive, although I guess there must be a manual or something that explains it.

Speaking of which, I don't think anyone's mentioned this: you can pick up squished fuzzies with the X (or whatever) key. You'll need to use that in the next level.

Stopping the drill jump is really random and dumb, and yet they still make you do it. Gotta love that.

I wonder what kind of controller you've been using for all those super mario-hacks all the time? Maybe the original snes-controller? If I remember correctly, you've said once that you've layed the savestate-command on a shoulder button, so it might be the the good old snes gamepad

Yeah, Charlie is killable with the "hammers." And the broom is rather useless against "large" enemies.

Actually, the secret exit isn't so bad to get, because if you clear the area well with the hammer, it's pretty simple. I mean, there's a few couple slightly hard jumps, but it's not as long as it would seem.

Maybe you should start calling the mid-points something else because in this game they seem to have several of them in most levels.

Also, slippery controls seem slippery.

The black yin-yang balls of the Miko suit are like the hammers of the Hammer Suit in SMB3, so they can kill just about anything the fireballs/jumping/drill jumping can't. Kinda odd they would make such a powerful power up kinda common in this game.

You can at least kill them with the hammers, like you could in SMB3. My instinct tells me that the fireballs won't work, like against the wigglers.

You could kill the Thwomps in SMW as well, if you have a shell.

The Invincible Butt (aka sliding) also works, if someone's dumb enough to put a thwomp on an incline.

of course it gives him dread Frezno, it's a Touhou game. Once you get done with the first few easy (relatively speaking) levels, it will inevitably become hellishly difficult if you aren't used to playing the series' games.
