Yes but it's much riskier and you might not succeed since you don't have a good view of the camera angle.

This is pretty much the only video walkthrough i found on youtube where the player actually collects the star bits lol. TRULY WONDERFUL 5/5

Most people tend to ignore them (which I do sometimes) because Star Bits are so very plentiful that you don't need to make an effort to grab them. Me, I found out about the coconuts replaced with watermelons and decided to start picking up Star Bits again.

You must play quite a lot to have these "low battery warnings" all the time. Is it because you're doing every mission Daredevil style, and it's longer and harder?

No, I just use lousy batteries that run out quickly. But they're very cheap.

I just watched my friend do this mission. she was waiting for the last minute when the lava was almost gonna surround mario b4 taking the star. what happened was that mario jumped in pain from the lava hitting his butt, and he took the star anyway XDD
