im sure somebody has learned to drift in 3 days somewhere.... :p ive been doing it for a pretty long time, not quite 4 years, but getting there. Actually, drifting is the only reason why i beat need for speed shift, too bad the drift physics felt funny in that game. wish there were single player drift events in gt5 too, id definatly be a lot further in the game if there were. And why does everybody use the buick in the seasonal drift events? i tried it, ended up doing better in my mercedes. :p

hey hows it going would love to learn to drift better using the DFGT i used to play forza 3 with the microsoft wheel and i can execute perfect drifts, 2 years experience but the DFGT wheel seems sooo hard to maintain a drift, then even harder when transitioning, i beleive it may be going to far into counter and then it swings back the opposite direction ... FML its soo complicated oh and i love the ebrake setup how is that hooked up?

This game is pissing me the hell off. I can drift/drive perfectly with the controller, I can drive great with the wheel but as soon as I try to drift with the wheel it all goes to hell. I am about to say F it and just use the controller for drifting. I have been trying with the wheel for the last 3 days to drift and its pissing me off

@71Chevelle1989 Exact same thing as me!!! I can drive/drift good with the controller and i can drive with the wheel but when i try to drift it feels impossible.

You need to take it easy and have some patience! practice practice practice! and make sure u use the comfort hards and try to feel how the car is behaving from the wheel's feedback and set the FFD strength to 10 and turn on the power steering

Yoou will not make the maximum possible drifts from the first time for sure ... first try to brake traction and then quicly gain it back using the wheel, then go up the ladder for longer drifts thats how u;ll learn ;) Remember !patience

hi, nice drift, may i ask you why you used the e-break at some corner? since you already initialed a drift..

@ismenoone well, when I drift for my own joy of drifting I do not use the e-brake, but in the seasonal event u need to be drifting on the driving line to get a high score so when the car is moving to the inside of the corner and getting away from the driving line (like in 2nd , last and before last corner) I use the e-brake to pull it to the outside of the corner closer to where the driving line is ...

@waider No it doest ... actually i;m not using the joystick i'm using the DS3 where its stick is tied to the joystick arm ... the DS3 is set to controller #1 and the DFGT to #2 ... ;) watch the video carefully to see the DS3 ;)

I wondered why all the online records say Special '62 for the top spots. a car with massive power and the worst tyres on to stop it from building up speed or having any real traction just to trick the points meter is borderline cheating. nice work anyway, iv got the same wheel and despite drifting for many years in real life i have struggled a little bit to start with

@25det Well you are right is somehow cheating ...i would've prefered the seasonal Drift event to be locked to one car that all people use .... but its like that so i saw what car is being used by the First 10 and used it (btw the first 10 maybe even the first 20 are using the DS3 controller except for me and my brother ( ID Drift_artist) ...

But u can use that car and get a good score ;)

thank god i found ur video thank you nice job BTW but i need help. i am a very good decent drifter with the controller, u can check out my gameplay on my channel but i have the same driving force GT wheel and i find it very difficult to drift with the wheel.can u tell me whats ur setup of the wheel like all the feedback and etc. i am despereate to drift with the wheel but its difficult then the controoler
