so, you are telling me automation with result in catastrophic changes, and yet you say it is a good thing?
some jobs that are hard, will never be automated. for example, behavioral therapy with kids who have autism. can not be automated. or try automating acupuncture.
medicine is also a hard job. machines aren't replacing doctors, no matter how hard you wish it. augment, but not replace.

@ThinkAgainDude Try to learn some things about A.I. before talking like you know what's going on, the most used field for it is medicine. So, about machines making medicine analysis and diagnosis, that's what is already going on. And machines would operate more exact than a human being. We want to eliminate money dude, we want to eliminate that medium of exchange and that whole concept of owning something to having access to something. In Reality that is what most people really want any way to have access to the things they need, not to own every house, car and tv in the neighborhood.

Which basically means you are going to still have a medium of exchange - just with a new name, and everyone will get the same amount, no matter if I spend my time learning and working, and joe shmoe down the road spends his days playing X box. It's all the same to you, right?
This is a horrid idea. It will have destructive results. Always has, always will.

It gives a pretty good outline of how the RBE system would work....KEEP IN MIND, RBE isn't perfect, it will never be perfect. It is just A LOT better than the system we have today.

i'm not watching a 90 minute lecture so I can find out my hunch was correct. either you can summarize for me how it will work, or the idea is ridiculous. you can't sell an idea to people based on asking them to just trust you, if they invest this time, they'll get the answers. that's why academic papers have 'abstracts'. give me the 'abstract'.

this is not new information. we've known for years that we have enough food for all to be fed. the problem is physical conflict. if the ZM's idea about scarcity held any water, then just by this being so, people would ease up and play nice. but they don't. across time and place, peoples who have lived in plenty have warred, and people with very little, have banded together to survive. this whole 'argument', really isn't an argument, and it certainly isn't science.

in the literature of the REAL science of behaviorism - that entity which the ZM tries to steal credibility from while at the same time they dishonor by so horribly misrepresenting- it is clear that there are many reasons for 'anti-social' behaviors that have nothing to do with 'scarcity' of physical resources.
apply your own logic, folks. if the rich have all they could ever need, why do they crave more? how does scarcity explain the drive for dominance?

Jesus/the bible is just a fairy tale. Im sorry to tell you that. It was a fairy tale designed to use peoples guilt, to create a more humane society. and yes, in some ways it has/had. But its dogmatic principals have created horrendous terrors as well. Prophecies are only prophecies, if enough people make them come true.

Jesus also predicted the Jewish people would not perish. Though the nation was to suffer terribly, Jesus made it clear they will still survive. And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled (Luke 21:24).
They would be persecuted until the times of the Gentiles would be fulfilled. Once this period of Gentile rule was over, the Jews would again have self-rule.

These Events Would Occur In The Same Generation

At the current state, we do not deserve to enter space nor spread the human race onto another planet until we as a species advance. This requires nothing less than the total unification of the world.

The reason for all the suffering in this world, is because people lost that goodness from they're hearts. They forgot what life is about, and they forgot how connected we really are.

Our lives are based off of old false belief systems, out dated superstitions, and Old collective behaviors from years past.
We live from our subconscious memories every day.
Just by typing is a memory from what you learned before, your just typing unconsciously.
It's our state of Unconscious that effects alot of us.
We need to be more Fully conscious and aware of what we are doing.

I read it a long time ago. Nothing at all new or interesting. Certainly not as good as half the papers I wrote back when in college - me, or most of my classmates for that matter. Very pedestrian stuff. Classic psudoscience.
He can talk about how science is salvation all he likes - but the irony is, he never EVER uses the scientific method to make his case, prove his points, etc.

It's too much like Deepak Chopra - we understand the words he uses, just not what he means when he jumbles them together ad-hoc like he does. This movement has one big problem moving forward in my opinion: You need to convince without pushing the 'feelgood factor' so heavily. Sounds airy and gives the impression your ideas aren't grounded in reality as we know it... Like watching that "What The @@@@ Do We Know" POS....

It's not RESIDING in humanity. It's a RESULT of the shortcomings of the present social architecture - not that if we change the way society is all of the 'dark' elements will go, but they will certainly be largely diminished.

Yes. Working with the school bully to find out what's causing them to bully, and them diminishing or eliminating those pressures. That's a very scientific way of thinking about solving problems.
