How do you flush the coolant out of the engine?

lol men are so simple~ as for the hi beams. Here its illegal to have the highs on during the day or at night if its blinding other vehicles. Cops will give you a fine aswell as blinking high beams to warn other vehicles of cops. They made a way make that illegal too and fine you. Its very strict here compare to the states. Even our helmets have to be certified with safety standard stickers.

does it ever get below freezing there?? If not I would never run normal coolant, just distilled water and water wetter.

@Pittimus84 yeah dats wot i read in forums to just use distilled water, but i read somewhere its more appropriate if u plan to take u bike on track. ..and i dont even know wot water wetter is -_-;. The weather he can get from one extreme to the other. Doesnt get below freezing..yet. but it can get up to over 40degrees. My bike had over heating issues. After i put this new coolant in the temp it maintains is much much better from b4.

@chunkatty yeah over heating sucks, water wetter is a additive u put in distilled water, it lubricates the water pump and also for some reason makes distilled water more effective and keeps the temp lower than coolant does. And best of all it's cheap. Sounds like u might end up getting this crazy ass type weather like we have here.

@Pittimus84 I flush before track days too and use d-water but for general riding around the R1 over heats bigtime in traffic and for some weird reason the coolant works better. But when your moving at pace (track) yeah man, the distilled water is the go. Or might just be me....

@r1gester yall don't have additives there for distilled water do yall?? I know coolant vs distilled water with water wetter over here, well distilled water and ww works better than coolant. Water wetter is made by a company called redline. I don't know if they sell products over there or not. I would assume someone would sell something similar to it though.

nicely done..

one of the best things i've bought was been a little oil extractor. while you still need to replace the oil filter, the extractor gets a lot of the oil out before you start removing things.
