  • any1 watch the video. I was just a little distracted by the asian woman singing the theme song for lez monthly. if it werent for asians i wud know how to do a flying omoplata

  • I am intrigued....I shall subscribe...Hey i recognise this song from fast and furious tokyo drift.

  • Is the perfect way the red guys way, or the blue guys way?

  • What do you do if he refuses to go down ?

  • @Mokki39 well according to this "perfect" technique..either he plays along or you ask him nicely to go down with you

  • I believe the keywords here are Brazillian Jiu Jitsu. What's asian about that? :S

  • @1TuffXR the music?!

  • its the music from Tokyo Drift :L

  • who are these bozos? you'd have to be a complete newb to get caught by their version.

  • you should show us in slow motion how to do this moves

  • in the video i saw ' The Flying Omoplata ' but didnt see ' How to do '

  • you have to be extremely fast and be really good at seeing the opening for this to work just saying any trained fighter will take top control straight from this 50% of the time at minimum but its a good move if you do it right

  • Your instruction was topnotch.

  • pfft who hasn't hit that move...

  • Bad taste in music brother...it is super gay

  • your kidding right hahah this is terrible

  • You suck!!

  • looks easy.. but is not... ask my poor butt

  • i feel fat...

  • mines prettier.

  • I had mute this so my dad wouldn't think I was gay.

  • @maverick48911 shut up man this is tokyo drift music from need for speed. If you don't like this you're gay.

  • @henkiesjenkie1 Umm no the music is gay. I don't like it there for I'm not gay. You are.

  • @henkiesjenkie1 Its from Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift, and i like this song, its allgoods

  • @maverick48911 do not worry son i heard it.

  • @maverick48911 hahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • nobody in their right mind would let you jump on em like that

  • @gorakatigeryea

In the last scene of The Karate Kid (1984) the hero pulled out the crane kick. You can say the same thing in a movie. In the UFC, there have been fighters that have won by submission by pulling the flying armbar, guillotine, omoplata etc.

The moral is you don't know what the other person knows or does not know in a fight so you can catch anyone, even trained a fighters with moves like this from no where. I'm not arguing with you but, I want you to consider reframing it.

  • @biggs0218 yeah i understand where you're comin from, but the way they do is like just standin there and jumping on top of each other, in any match people are on their guard, and the first reaction to be fight or flight, they would either back away really fast, or turn into you to face you. not stand there and let them go t o the side like that. it might work, but the technique is flawed it isn't perfect like they claim, NOTHING is

  • Such an annoying song!

  • who did the song in this video

  • @Rashad77f Teriyaki Boyz

  • The cooler flying omoplata is the one where you do another rotation after going for the flying armbar!

  • that is soo bad ass!! top shelf stuff boys

  • @macq1 top of what shelf? the dusty one where u put all the things you dont use?

  • @animedrummerboy lol nice. It looks cool. No I would likely never use this myself. I prefer simple wrist and arm pressures. I just stated it looks bad ass and it does. Top shelf like the liqueurs you rarely if ever use, but something just show off.

  • nice move,i am from Brazil, and training BJJ,one day you guys get there!!!

  • That dude in the red is really good at flying submissions!!!!

  • Cool move, gay song.

  • W T F im gona lern this hah

  • That's kimura?

  • @komentatorxd no kimura is only with hands here they use legs to hold arm in place and use the hands to finish

  • dumb yur sopost to teach us not play bad music

  • What's name of this song?

  • I first read this as "flying oompa loompa"

  • wish I could master all BJJ moves instead of just a couple and be able to look for more then just a triangle or armbar while in the cage...Ide be unstoppable

  • I think you'll find this is the perfect Omoplata. So much cooler lol

    watch?v=s9QXH84l-NU&feature=related

  • @phoenix8990 LOL that video is the reason i clicked on this link

  • LoL

  • you don't lock your legs around the arm? do you not need to?

  • Sick! I like.

  • this music sounds like its from a gay asian nightclub

  • @xadamxful tokyooooo

  • @xadamxful lolol

  • the in-the-black dude's flying omoplate looks so much cooler and smoother

  • This has the same starting moves as the flying arm bar video right?

  • I'm going to learn to do this. When I can do it well enough, It will become how I say hello to people.

  • @119Elias119 perfect comment! Got a laugh out of me. Glad I wasn't drinking coffee.

  • I gotta admit that was badass.

  • the guy in the red sucks he kicks hes partner all the time lol ^^,

  • flying heel to head :D the guy in dark gets alwys kicked :D

  • definitly not perfect

  • perfect way to destroy the shoulder joint haha

  • This music makes me want to kill myself...

  • last one looked like it hurt his shoulder

  • oh btw, contact kru yod at Tiger Muay Thai and Thailand and ask them about a Sebastian Delacroix who trained there from 2000-2007, let's face it, mixed martial artist's who've trained extensively think Kalaripayattu is great, the only real MMA gym in India does Kalaripayattu, and their students have done great. you have no training, and by your own admission have only watched a video, how someone can be retarded to argue over conclusions they drew from youtube video's is beyond me.

  • Oh, and additionally, you seem to be incredibly ignorant too, you claimed that Kalari sucked because it didn't have a ground game yet seem to be a Muay Thai Fanboy, you haven't trained in any stand up striking style so have no frame of reference, yet insist of making judgements based on VIDEO you watched, you don't seem to have any argument or logical point, all you do is, constantly keep screaming "NOOO it doesn't work" and ignore when I prove to you it does.

  • The LEADING mma gym in India makes extensively use of Kalaripayattu and they've done extremely well, their students have fought from Abu Dhabi to Scotland to Bangkok and they all have decent records, look up Alan Fernandes on sherdog

  • I like your videos. Beautiful technique.

  • i love u maaaaaaan

  • can u show us a How to?

  • we have the exact same move in kalaripayattu

  • @RhadeConstantine LOOOL that stuffs a joke, and thats coming from a indian

  • @Desi9 Lool, I doubt you've trained in the style, lool, i doubt you've done anything other than troll on youtube, lool I've even spoken to mixed martial artists on BULLSHIDO who think it's a pretty good style, this is like me saying your mother is a bad fuck without even meeting her. btw where and which martial art have you studied?

  • @RhadeConstantine i do wrestling but i have seen Gayapatu videos on youtube and it is fuckin retarded i mean come on you throw slaps at your opponenet HAHAH makes all indians look bad

  • @Desi9 where have you trained in wrestling? anyway, so you think watching youtube video's enables you to accurately critique a style? FYI muay thai too originally had similar circular strikes with the elbow locked out. I guess now muay thai sucks too? it's sad that people actually think watching a couple of video's gives them the right to shit on another style. I've spoken to several mixed martial artists who've actually gone all the way to india to train and they have a pretty favorable opinion

  • @RhadeConstantine in portland, lol take it ez iv seen a whole hour long video of it and i know what its all about, slaps, and dancing like a faggot. Don't and i say DON'T you EVER compare that pussy shit to muay thai.

  • @Desi9 ohhhh, right. a ONE hour video? wow, that must make you a complete expert, also, you didn't mention your teachers name. if you're retarded enough to think that a one hour video gives you the understanding of a striking based style when you haven't trained in one you're rather illogical, additionally, MUAY THAI does have an almost identical circular strike with the elbow locked, I've trained both. and I've spoken to people who've actually studied both, not watched a god damn video.

  • @RhadeConstantine dumb fuckin shit do u not understand muay thai has knees elbows and is the best stand up martial art in the world, while on the other hand you guys slap each other and dance

  • @Desi9 ahaha, go on kiddo, swear at me because logic is beyond the grasp of your tiny brain, MUAY THAI DOES HAVE A SIMILAR strike, your crying on youtube will not change that, I've trained in BOTH MUAY THAI, and KALARIPAYATTU, you've just WATCHED A VIDEO. maybe it's time you shut up? I've spoken to several MMA fighters who've studied kalaripayattu. WE think it works, a retard like you, with no training who's only watched a 1 hour video, shouldn't be dumb enough to comment.

  • @Desi9 lets face it, you're swearing because you don't have a logical response, you have no training in any style, yet you're disagreeing with someone who's trained in BOTH the style you're putting down, and the style who's ass you're kissing, you're also disagreeing with the general consensus of most mixed martial artist's who're familiar with kalaripayattu. the fact that you don't even know that MT has a practically identical strike makes you even more ignorant. an hour long vid? for real?damn

  • @RhadeConstantine what similar strike is that a bitch slap?? if so... then so i did not know muay thai has slaps like gayapatu, go oil up your body, put on your oil and start slapping eachother around LOL. And i told u allready dumbass i have wrestled in portland at Lincoln highschool. AND where did u train muay thai u goof, in delhi somewhere?? HAHAHHA who was your teacher, your father??? stick to dancing around like a fairy

  • @Desi9 ahaha, maybe you don't know, because you haven't ACTUALLY trained in the style, you haven't made any mention of the name of teacher, so just naming a school isn't proof of training, I've already sent you video's of Mixed Martial artists who've trained in kalaripayattu and used it extensively, I've also sent you the details of a MMA gym which uses Indian Martial art's like kalaripayattu and does VERY well, all you've done, is cite a 4 MINUTE video. such sheer ignorance is amazing.

  • @RhadeConstantine LOL wtf is wrong with u kid, u want my whole life story or something? hahaah if you must know his name is Dan Jones, now what are you going to do, ask me his phone number and where he lives? LOL ur pathetic and your style is a bunch of non-sense. You have wasted your time learning non sense bullshit that doesnt work.

  • @Desi9 damn you must be blind, i've sent you the details of an MMA gym which uses Kalaripayattu, whose students have done extremely well, and fought and won in places from Abu Dhabi to Scotland, I've directed you to professional mixed martial artist's who've trained in the style and think it's excellent. I've already pointed out a number of similarities in Muay Thai and Kalaripayattu, you seem to be doing the online version of putting your fingers in your ears and screaming "NO!!!" grow up.

  • @RhadeConstantine half that shit would not work in a mma match or rather self defence. All that slow ass motions would get u fuckin handled. But you go ahead and keep dancing around LOL do u have any ground game? no u dont, can u throw a punch? no u cant

  • @Desi9 see another really retarded thing you did there, No ground game eh? moron do you think MUAY THAI has a ground game? no. it's a STAND UP STRIKING STYLE, obviously it won't have a ground game use your brain if you have one, additionally I see you haven't provided ANY details of where you studied wrestling from despite me repeatedly asking, I guess you made that up Id also be interested in seeing which one hour video made you an expert. look retard, you have no clue what you're talking about

  • nice i train in brazilian ju jit su knowing this should give me the uper hand

  • very cool for what its worth but like alot of other moves some have a place in the ring and not on the street. if you can get this on someone in a street fight then you really should just knock him the fuck out cuz he'z a dumbass! dont bother risking the chance of a unnecessary fall. also , if you could get that far why not just throw a knee ? still cool though

  • @kmofe12345 True, it looks like something I learned from Neak Ta Pradal Serey before kneeing the opponent.

  • very cool for what its worth but like alot of other moves some have a place in the ring and not on the street. if you can get this on someone in a street fight then you really should just knock him the fuck out cuz he'z a dumbass! dont bother risking the chance of a unnecessary fall. still cool though

  • Although this is all very neat stuff, as a BJJ practitioner and addict, I have to remind everybody that this is highly impractical unless you're highly trained in flying submissions AND you're on the mats. If you think you're gonna be pulling off this stuff in a street fight, get real. Not only is your execution of the actual move gonna be hampered just by the fact that you're in a brawl and not practicing with your training partner, but you're also very liable to eat a chunk full of concrete.

  • Really good videos guys, really cool.

Can't wait to give them a go at training.

    Cheers.

  • stop looking if you guys cant see how to do it from this . its so simple i got it from just watching . but then again i also know what i am doing .

  • for god sakes turn this crap music off!!!

  • The shorter guy can freakin leap 20 feet into the air...that doesn't work for most white guys. So we will be on the lookout for videos sans the word "flying".

  • DAMN!!!!!!

  • possibly my favorite of your videos

  • i saw "the perfect Flying Omoplata", but i didn't see the "How to do"

  • @duguy005 you have eyes right?

  • @duguy005

I'm pretty sure someone has already sent you instructions... But the move begins in the pummel, where you vie for position. While pummeling, isolate an arm. This is the arm you will omoplata. Once you have the arm securely isolated, jump and thow the leg going over your opponent's back over his shoulder or across his throat while spinning forward to propel him to the ground. Once on the ground, finish by lifting your hips and pushind forward

  • @duguy005 LMAO

  • @duguy005 just keep watching and analyse the movements its pretty easy to do so. It starts off with a over hook arm on one side. you step to the side you over hooked his arm while holding down on his head with other hand. then jump on him like you are taking guard but kick the leg on the over hook side over his arm like you aim for the mat. the over hook and the other leg keep you from falling to the mat while you fall try to land on your butt legs crossed while you hug his side or leg. crank :)

  • @duguy005 You learn from watching the technique, Have an overgrip on one arm, Jump similar to how you would for the Flying armbar, but instead of going for an armbar you move your hips to the other direction, allowing for you to get the leg over the back of his shoulder for the Omoplata

  • tokyo drift? lololololollollo

  • rather poor...

  • awesome you guys are great

  • Thats hard to pull off

  • Pssht! James Toney did a flying gogoplata to King Mo.

  • @jagdjohn96 Yeah, but James Toney like to lick young boys ass

  • @jagdjohn96 send a link to this my way

  • @kmtatyou James toney doing submissions is so unlikely, that no links yet exist for them

  • @jagdjohn96 kmt -.-

  • great video. is the guy in the black doing a less acrobatic or a less flexible version it looks a little easier.

  • wow put some gayer music on please.

  • @XxflamingarrowxX "Many many diamonds, dangalin! Bag full of money me strangalin! Hate me, fry me, bake me, try me!" LOL Hilarious!

  • Nice. I like the guy in the blue's technique better

  • fuckin AYY dude!!! lol noice

  • omg u gys have the best flying submissions on youtube

  • Big up Terrassa!

  • i need to learn to do it from rubber guard

  • very nice guys. props to the max

  • how you guys jump it seems as though you are looking to get slammed

  • best bjj video in youtube!!

  • We train in Terrassa (Barcelona), Spain.

  • you guys are awesome where did you guys train?

  • looks just like a leg-generated kimura.

  • Music sux, and that move works perfectly, (if your opponent is going along with it)

  • Nicely done man .. me and my bro were looking to start practicing more flying submissions .. however this one looks like you could break an arm even by accident ... can you recommend something for someone who is just getting into flying submissions?

  • @midgety1 try the flying knee bar or flying triangle

  • @KingAwesome218 thanks bro

  • @midgety1 try jumping gaurd first

  • @frenchieamelia Thanks man

  • amazing it´s complicated

  • ive seen better flying omoplatas buts this one is still really good plus tha song is awesome!!!

  • watch?v=s9QXH84l-NU&NR=1

dis one is much cooler, lol... looks more complicated

  • do a flying gogoplata haha

  • @darthsasuke554 lol that would be neat,...

  • coolest submission ive ever seen.

MOST ANNOYING SONG ON THE PLANET

  • the guy in the red has the easier version of the omoplata

  • nice one ;)

  • search for "Marlon Loor Vera (FLY OMOPLATA) " and you'll see a REAL flying omoplata, while sparring.

Not simply ALLOWING the other guy to perform one.

  • Am I the only one who's noticing that the victim of the submission attempt is simply standing there doing nothing?

I'm no BJJ expert, but you have to be a LOT quicker than what's being shown, or go against a VERY inexperienced fighter to for these two guys to be successful.

  • @rlphwiggum Well it looks like you could do it in a street fight. But in MMA probably not. Then again, you don't see much flying submissions either.

  • I teach that out of a shot from double leg then goto omoplata and sit up so they flip then have crossbody or mount or im in pinning position. So this drill helps go from takedown where they are almost taken down and they are even falling back on there butt and still goes from that to pin.

  • flying gogoplata?

  • I like the flying triangle/omaplata combination, it gives you options depending on they guys reaction. The guy will either turn into the triangle or the omaplata.

  • There is no problem with your back when you are doing the flying submissions correctly.

  • one thing im scared of doing Flying submissions is that wouldnt you hurt your back as your landing??

  • @DJimenez371 is that you dion?

  • @DJimenez371 nevermind man

  • i hate this music

  • type in flying omopata in slo mo it is the actual version this is just a bunch of peope who dont know what they are doing jumping straight to the submission with no leverage where they would get slammed on there head and get seriously fucked up.

  • this is the worst way to do it

  • i see a lot of potential to be kicked in the face

  • this move is soooo ludicrous.

  • terrible music. not even worth making. honestly.

  • what is this music?

  • @serdgeedgerunner If I'm not mistaken, it's Teriyaki Boyz - Tokyo Drift off the Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift soundtrack.

  • does raul do copoeria. for a second looked like he was using roda foot work

  • its cool that they show two different ways to hit this

  • this video and the mendes brother's video are awesome demo's

  • Very good sub. I didnt know you could do a flying omoplata. What else can u do flying? Armbar. triangle, omo, maybe gogo???

  • a flying gogo would be too complicted and take too much to hit live. there is however a flying armbar, triangle and knee bar and maybe a few others, but flying gogo will take too many steps in a real situation

  • @stoenchy I've seen flying armbars and flying scissor. Freaking amazing.

  • @socalguy2186 then u havent been in the game for very long. and dont expect to see one of these pulled off ever in a roll or tourney. i highly doubt this has ever been finished in a tourney. there is all sorts of high percentage moves flying triangles darce and anacondo chokes from guard but they rarely work.

  • @carlsongracieteam Seriously? I was talking about flying submissions that I knew exist, dude. I never said I've personally seen them done. Get your head out of your hind quarters, read into the conversation I was attempting to have with stoenchy, and stop pulling this know-it-all bullcrap.

  • @socalguy2186 All i said is u prly havent been in the game very long i wasnt insulting u no reason to get butt hurt over it.

  • Ainda prefiro o estilo do Rumina Sato.

  • Once you learn how to do the chaotic flying arm bar, you can land any flying submission. Although the flying bow and arrow choke seems difficult
