Countless times have I listened to this song and never bored. Sath Samudura will go down in history as a classic.

Denawake Hamine did an award winning performance so did Cyril Wickremage. Swarna blazed the trail from there with a lot of character roles from Dadayama to Suddige Katawa. Personally speaking, it will be a tie if I were to choose the lifetime best acting award between Malini and Swarna and would favour Swarna because Malini can never play "bitchy" roles that natural !!!

In fact in 'Parasathumal' Maestro Amaradeva sings even nice song 'Sandakath Pini diya' music composed by Lionel Algama as you correctly pointed out.

Dear Rate veda,

In fact 'Pipunu Kusuma' lyrics was by Siri Gunasinghe.

Sekara wrote the 'Sinidu sudu muthu thalawe' one.

All of them were top of their performance. I must tell that Nihalsinghe's camera direction was great in that too.
