I was first introduced to Andrew's music by my father. He has passed since. I was surprised when I saw Brendan Power performing in my city, even more surprised to hear he's from New Zealand, this guy sounds a little kiwi as well.

Yeah Andrew white is from NZ and he has toured with Dufour as part of the international guitar night (I think that's what it's called)

It's just really typical. In a band, the strumming acoustic guitar almost always get lost.  You can't hear it, but if it's taken out, you'll notice.

I figured I knew CandyRat's style when I first found all the YouTube videos, but if you check the website out, there's actually a really wide variety of styles. You listen to someone like Micheal Hedges and then check out Via Satellite and some of the jazz and realize CandyRat must go way back. Iron and Wine is even promoted by CandyRat. I had no clue.
