It really clicked what you said at the end. I've heard it several times, and there's even a line in a musical (maybe music man) where singing is just longer speech, and finally it sunk in. I did your warm-ups and this exercise, went back and sang and old song and it already sounds clearer, supported, and just there. Inspires me to keep working on it. :-)

@summer40001 You can try searching a song you don't know yet, and listen to it only a few times to find the melody, and then sing it with an instrumental version. That way you don't have 'time' to learn exactly how the original artist sings it, but you can form the song yourself :)

Can anyone learn how to sing? I have a DEEP voice & a history of singers in my family. Now I KNOW for a fact that I cant sing to save my life lol, BUT i do know that I have a smooth voice that can hum or whisper notes to the point where people think I CAN sing. This is somewhat of an inspiration to see if I have any kind of potential. So back to my main question. Can anyone sing wonderfully if they are trained?
