@pumaman1 Actually that is not true, the second amendment is a "right" but most states require you to have a "permit" to own a gun. Private property rights also have different regulations on them, that people have to conform to. Rights are not absolute, they have social, economic, and legal constraints on them.

I’m speaking philosophically. They are indeed absolute! Just because we have a government that regularly oversteps its bounds because we as a society have degenerated to such an ignorant state does not negate the fact that the Constitution states clearly that its amendments are the highest laws.
The Second Amendment states clearly & unequivocally that “it shall NOT be infringed”.
That is clear cut and simple. Anything else is a violation of the highest laws.

I think the only real law is the right for the police to take you off the streets but I don't think they can charge you with anything.
