I am beginer and my record is about 38 km/h. But I noticed that the computer on my bike shows maximum speed at 83,6 km/h. How this could be? And what is normal maximum speed for a ordinary man (not a sport man) on a cross country MTB?

Really, if I would go as fast as that I would be using my brakes all the time

I like to ride everything, flat, cobbles, hills, mountains, but dont give me off mountain because i will go as fast as a snail if you compare me to others lol

we have hills in Australia where you can easily reach 100km/h, last week my friend came of at 71.2km/h on a very similar track he is OK after having 3 weeks of work and in hospital, we are keen to find hills that will go much faster
