I think artists such as: George Strait, Alan Jackson, Randy Travis, Gene Watson, Keith Whitley, Charlie Pride, Barbara Mandrell, have all done a pretty good job of filling there shoes. They have kept there music country and have stayed to there country roots. No rock & roll distortion guitars and drums, or trying to add rap in to there music like some of these new artists. That just makes me sick to see them do that!!!

Last night I saw Billy Don Burns perform at a club in Nashville. This guy only sings songs that he writes. His songs were some of the greatest I had ever heard. Some of his songs have been recorded by Willy Nelson and Johnny Paycheck. This guy is a great act!!

Judge my sound for yourselves... I can take the truth. A lot of people don't give any new comers half a chance to prove themselves. It's all about money now days. That's what happen to music in general. If you don't have the money to promote yourself, what chance do you have.
