If it does come to the U.S. there is no guarantee it will be published by ATLUS. The Japanese company was recently purchased, but I don't know if it will affect ATLUS USA publishing. Aside from that, Namco might be able to publish EXCEED in the U.S. if it thinks the original sold well enough.

I really don't know why they decided to use the Super Robot Taisen title with this game. There are only a few mechs in the game, which are some of the SRT: OG mechs, but without them being a constant element in battle, it doesn't really make sense. The characters are a little one-dimensional and the story's no pulitzer winner, but godddamn it, it's just so much fun to play.

The retarded plot in itself is far too mind boggingly that no one can honestly take it seriously, not even the game itself. It's a pretty fun game though, since it takes a bit of skill for the actual combat. Play it if you want a good laugh, but if your expecting a powerful plot, go play some Phoenix Wright.
