1st time I saw and met Ace was in 1973. I was working security at this arena and guarding the hallway leading to the dressing rooms. I was sitting on a folding chair next to a wall mounted telephone. He came out into the hallway, looked around, and saw me sitting there by myself. He walked over and we started talking. What a nice guy! I didn't know what to say to him so he just started talking about guitars. I told played since I was like 10 years old. We instantly bonded.
@FireStorm73 AWESOMEace is an underrated guitarist man,,totally,,he admits that he would have been a better performer if he would have stayed sober thru the early kiss days,,one of the best in my opinion.
Since i saw him at the concert in cologne 1981, Ace Frehley rulez my life. I've seen a lot people who play their guitar faster, harder or whatever, but nobody touched my soul like an Ace did. awesome²
