  • didnt even know this song was so long!

  • That was so neat bringing it in that way

  • i agree with you...it must be wonderful dream

  • She seems a little arrogant and lack of her own when playing...However I have to say she is REALLY good, but too artificial just saying...

  • realmente una verdadera pianista!!!! grande grande me gustaría conocerte aunque eso sea imposible!!!!! pero podrías aser un recital en Chile yo iría encantado... (Y)

  • watching this almost everyday.. thinking that I could magically play it if I watched this more about a thousand more times. -____-

  • Sounds like the original recording!

  • amazing

  • what is that really fast part at 9:07 called???

  • @InF3RoAsAssIn911 Piano Sonata Op. 27 No. 2 "Moonlight" mouvement III Presto agitato

  • I didn't realize how old she was.... now I feel like a pedophile becasue her talent makes her so goddamn attractive.

  • ...how can you dislike this? I mean, if classical isn't your thing I get it, but two things.

    A) If that's the case, why are you even watching the video?

    B) You gotta admire the talent.

  • does anyone notice she is not "playing" it? it's all technical. there's no depth, soul, feeling. but yes it sounds good. but there is definitely something missing.

  • @1200supraman I respectfully diasagree. It has lots of depth, and lots of emotion. It's got it all - not missing anything. She's a wonderful player, playing wonderful music.

  • Wow she plays it perfectly!!!!!!!!!

  • She's so pretty & so GOOD !

  • @TheApfelkern ten people are JEALOUS !.. so much hateeeeeeeee in this world >.<

  • it must be a dream to be her neighbour :)

  • 10 green-eyed monsters. What is there to dislike?

  • amazing to say the least.

  • This is amazing..I'm 13 myself, and I have learned the 1st and 2nd movements and I'm working on the 3rd. This piece is so hard to really play well and she NAILED it! Bravo, Tiffany. Bonus points for playing it without sheet music!

  • why cant she just play mary had a little lamb?!? :O

  • meh, not that hard, i can do this with my elbows :3

  • Os negativos são deveras INVEJOSOS!

  • of course she is very talented. but i dont think shes a good beethoven player. a lot more passion shall be present in the last movement.

  • 9 people lost their ears.

  • @tng1350429705 or they are just jelly.

  • Very impressive restraint. She allows the soul of the music to breathe.

  • @metroeco

"impressive restaint"? I call that timid.

  • Very good playing! :) She is playing the "Quasi una Fantasia" sonata with a lot of emotion.

  • Tiffany, this is absolutely breath taking. My ears are so happy now. Thank you!

  • Excellent. My two grand daughters loved it. Thanks.

  • this is one of the best renditions of moonlight sonata iv ever heard!!!!! Its not emotionless and robotic like most versions.

  • This is beyond words *-*

  • Bravo. This made me entranced and left me speechless. The many years of hard work is summed up wonderfully in 15 minutes.

  • the silence before she starts is unbelievable

  • So beautiful, bravo!

  • Amazing!!

  • wow! she plays like she's in her own world! woow! just wow!

  • Одне з кращих виконань! Справді, 1-ша частина - спокійна, як ніч влітку. Молодець!

  • She listens to Rebecca Black in her spare time. #troll

  • she does a better job than most. she plays it so soft and elegantly this peace was meant to vary in dynamics some people have no soul in it

  • beautiful!

  • she looks so beautiful.

  • A great video, artist, and what a piano! Thank you for such wonderful videos.

  • woww....amazing...!!!

  • Respect... ,-Õ-, hands down

  • pf92a,

if you have nothing positive to say, stay away from this posting. Waht are you trying to do? Create negativity ? Both Tiffanies are talented. They both love what they do. Let them be.

  • no, five people are jealous now.

  • She played perfectly!

  • O.O wow she is amazing!!

  • You are going to win the next Chopin competition! ... and the Beethoven competition :-)

  • what a little angel!

  • @TheApfelkern it's true but....now are 4

  • Why does she wait for a while before starting playing? Just kidding, but it seems to me Beethoven is possessing her body! (GILBERTO SAUGEN DO BRASIL)

  • She is amazing period!!. Stop saying nonesense stuff yall.

  • hey can someone explain what she's doing from part 0:25- 0:45 it may look obvious that she's gathering her thoughts but i do wonder why it can take so long? yes it may be a beautiful performance but as a fellow pianist ,not a good one mind you, I have played a piece not this one (maybe one day) and then been criticised not for how well I played, but for not waiting for a long time before I start. So i'm asking why is this pause so appealing to audiences? Thanks :)

  • @connorp2402 The pianist is suppose to get into the "right mood" before playing a piece because the atmosphere and the feeling will be right. One of the reasons this pause is appealing is because the audience sort of know that this girl was trying to put in emotions into the song and thats why they love it:)

  • @Brunawesomefreak Thanks for replying and yea your probably right but i just didn't think that embedded in performances was actually some psychology... maybe thats why i don't like performing because i don't care about how the audience sees me because i just want to enjoy the emotional story when i play. But yea thats the best answer i have heard so thanks

  • @ClassicMusic95. What the hell?! She performed this very well Who cares if she didn't repeat a little section?

  • I have to dislike... She didnt repeat the first part in the third movement... NOT PERFECT

  • Fazioli pianos are so beautiful...

  • Just when I thought I could play this well...

  • Such GRACE and ELEGANCE... and so much Passion in the beginning as you lift your hands to start playing...... I wondered how you could have that peace while you play at such a young age, and then I read "Julliard School".... So I thought: "Great, right where she deserves to be."

  • LOVE it absolutley Love it

  • @TheApfelkern one of them is Lang lang.. and one is beethoven .

  • amazing, i'm 14 and i can only play ten measures of the third movement

  • I've been trying to find the time to finish downloading her Waldstein. Now this! Astonishingly good. I would love to pay for a recording of this. I'm sure the chance will come some day, and to see her in concert. Truly one of the very finest young pianists in the world. Thank you Tiffany for sharing with us!

  • One of the best performances I have ever heard! Congratulations Tiffany

  • ..just... awesome!!!...

  • she's a tigress when she starts the third movement! CON FUOCO indeed. Fabulous!

  • Imagine if she compose something... does she? Truely amazing!!

  • She is young, beautiful and talented(!!!), but boys she already has a boyfriend - the piano o.O

  • 9:35-9:38 Listen to that run!

  • Oh my gawd O.O

  • You are GOOD

  • I have no words. Tiffany must surely be Beethoven reincarnated. Unbelievable. Not only does she sound amazing but she is just stunning to watch. Two people are apparently hearing impaired.

  • @jmccolley07 she is NOT reincarnated bethoven. Bethoven is playing his beautiful pieces above in heaven along with chopen, mozart, liszt and many other. I hate when people say stuff like "oh, so little kid but so talented! its next mozart!" damn there was only one mozart, there was only one bethoven. they lived their lives and now they are gone. Their music stayed with us so stop comparing some asian talented kids to them just because they can play their pieces!

  • @Irolka177 I agree. There is a significant fact people ignore when comparing someone imitates great composers music to the composers themselves, it is all about composing these pieces from nothing. What makes great musicians is creating such pieces.

However, the girl is very talented.

  • A lot of piano players rush through the first movement like they are racing a car or something. Very few can play with the maturity this young lady does here. Bravo!

  • FANTASTIC!!! you are really, really good:) greetings from Denmark;)

  • tiffany + fazioli = omg.......

  • This is amazing playing; especially, for a 13 yo. WoW!

The first mvt is the best I've ever heard from most on an acoustic piano. It was just lovely, smooth, and expressive...

    The FAZIOLI sounds awesome too!

  • perfection

  • i'm a noob

  • the only one who could DISLIKE this video is the same Tiffany who -maybe- finds that something in her interpretation could be changed or improved!! (sorry for my english but I think my message is clear)

  • che magnifica concentrazione iniziale...una parte del tutto!! ammirabile ed esemplare...per poi ottenere un suono iniziale perfetto..

  • Whoever who dislike the video. You suck.

  • That piano bench looks a bit high...maybe it's just me. Lovely playing, Tiffany!

  • Amirevole e fantastica Tiffany. Bravissima.

  • there was tears in my eyes listening to her play

  • Look, she is 13 years old here. She is amazing beyond words. Here technique is flawless. She represents all that is good in humanity in so many ways. But........I don't like it. This is a piece of passion. Especially the third movement. I want to be pissed off! I want the reverberation of six measures ago reverberating in my brain while I am being stabbed in the heart by the present one. No way would I even think about a thumbs down here but I need the passion.

  • Thumbs up if you never seen someone play this song so beautiful.

    Such a amazing performance Tiffany!

wonder if you started to write your own songs?

  • Beautiful playing!

  • beautiful. i adore the way you play! it gives me goosies.

  • I think even the great Wilhem Kempff would kiss this wondrous girl. I've never heard such an enchanting rendering of the 1st movt. Just un-be-lie-va-ble. The last movt is also amazing.

    Two thumbs up !:

  • WOW! Its like shes in a whole other state of mind right before she starts playing. Nicely done :)

  • I love your expression. Very inspiring!

  • Beautiful wrists. How I would love to draw your hands........

  • You play piano like a harp! Beethoven would have been proud of you!

  • I swear, if this video gets any dislikes, all is lost in the world.

  • @tromblasta4life There are always dislikes, you know there is a lot of stupid people.

  • @tromblasta4life don't feed the trools :|

  • @Darkmetiusranger trolls. -___-

  • @TheSuNsHiNeDiNo like this guy sais

  • @Darkmetiusranger What guy? And he said What?

  • Actually what is most impressive about Tiffany is that as much emotion as she does put into the music, she is always playing the Composer. she is not playing herself. She has a wonderful sense of respect.

  • Beautiful beyond words! :)

  • I Love you Tiff! I miss you so much! My mom says hi~

    -Olivia :)

  • I love the way you "feel" the music. It adds so much to the sound of the overall piece.

  • She is incredible.... My mouth droped!

  • Incredible, you are good!

  • This girl is Absolutely amazing. Extremely rare for a person this age to have so much technical mastery and interpretive genius at the same time.

I haven't been this impressed with a musician this age this much since I first saw Leila Josefowicz play paganini at age 13.

  • Though the dress is amazing like a lot of people are saying, it only adds to the beautiful playing. Keep it up! (you already have) :)

  • An amazing effort dear Tiffany. Right through the Sonata in one marathon and wonderfully executed. Congratulations. So emotional, beautifully expressive and that final segment was hugely powerful and flawless. A million stars from me.

    Love

    Lalita

  • wonderful !

  • @hamiltonrrw beethoven always likes compositions with long codas. try listening almost all of his sonatas.

  • Nice tone she made there! hahaha... keep up the good work!

  • Speechless.......... and this was such an excellent rendition! And from a 13 y/o! We admire you. BTW, the beautiful dress is an excellent fit for a Cinderella like you. Keep up your good work.

  • A FAZIOLI. I have never seen this in a performance. P.S. She is amazing.

  • your dress is really beautiful. I have a few piano competitions before and not wearing a gorgeous dress like this. haha...

  • This is something I wanted to be a whitness of :)

mv1: That's what can not be played by a woman.

mv2: I do not like it. But it belongs to my NextFav list.

mv3: Even if you would not catch it, This is something very good ! That it could be called great :)

admirable and fantastic video :) I admire you :)

  • Tiffany, how do you like this new Fazioli grand-piano? I feel really inspired by your marvelous performing of that beautiful and so often-played Sonata. But the 1st movement is really difficult to built the right legato. You have managed with that perfectly and also didn't forget and the musically theme. Please, allow us to watch the whole recital.

  • @cristeny I love this performance. It's played at the right tempo, slow and soulful. The sound is so exquisite that my words can not describe. I have listened to dozens of versions of this amazing piece. And this one is my favorite. Thank you Tiffany Poon for sharing your gift with us.
