Is there a laser invisible to the human eye that you can buy glasses for to see? I know they exist, I just don't know what type or where to get one or the glasses to be able to see them
Can infrared lasers burn white things like paper? I wonder if my 445nm 1 W laser has a lot of IR light as part of its power or it's just a simple diode, because it can't burn a white sheet.
@dragonlasers What happends if you put a magnifying glass in front of the laser beam, would it then be possible to increase the power or burning range
do they sell cheap ones somewhere? i need an IR laser for a trip-wire trigger for a camera flash for high speed photography and the IR LEDs are not putting out enough light
If you were the one who innovated these powerful lasers , you must have rainbow pockets full of euro's lol ...also is there a attachment of some sort that is scope-like to where you can see where the IR beam is pointing?
how much money (in american dollars) do these things run for? I can't imagine they are inexpensive, even just powerful but ordinary lasers go from 300 all the way to 1000 dollars. like those dragon ones.
Hey , i`ll might buy one of these IR Lasers from your website (propably the 400mW one)! But two questions.. Which one did you used at 2:40? was it the 400mW 808nm or the 400mW 980nm or isnt there any difference between them?
A Hulk laser with 400mW is stronger ( burns things better and so on ) than the IR laser with 400mW , or?
@alex76gr because ir light is visible through a camra not the human eye, and if u dont belive me, grab ur camera phone have it on camera mode get ur fat ass of the computer and grab the tv remote and look at the part that you POINT towards the tv and you cant see any light? now look at ir through ur camera on ur phone, then show all ur friends :D
Night vision equipment picks up Infrared the best. That's how IR illumination works. You can see what an IR laser looks like through night vision in this video. Keep in mind, you can't see anything without night vision equipment of your own. watch?v=1bAMu6m0Yug
Gen 0 did not use visible light, only IR. All night vision equipment is most sensitive to the IR region. That's why IR illuminators work. Also why we use IR chem lights and IR chemlights are brighter than Red which are brighter than green even though it is the exact opposite to the human eye. You can even use a TV remote as a cheap blinking IR illuminator.
hey please tell the truth please. i know your part of dragonlasers but plz tell truth. i bought a 50mW laser on ebay. ok for $12.00 do u suspect it is 50mW. is true from ebay or lower. and also can a 50mw laser pop a ballon or light a match?
Can you actually see the dot on the 808nm IR laser? I heard you can. A dim (very deceptive) red dot. Is that true? I really want a 400mW 808nm laser, because it's so cheap and rare.
Not the laser by itself. What you can do is use this laser with an attachment called the "beam expander" that allows you to have a focus point at any distance past 1.4 meters.
I got a red 660nm eBay laser that has a foucus point! It only burns at it! When its foucesed and consentrated it only burns at like 1M away, any close or futher away it wont burn. If you dii-foucus it, its foucus point is much closer! Is it normal? (300mW 660nm)
Thankyou for the video, very interesting. I am wondering if you could share your expertise.
I have a device that currently uses generic Class IIIb red laser diodes, which I'd like to replace with IR laser diodes. Do you know where I can acquire affordable *low power* IR laser diodes?
I'm having trouble finding very low power (<=5mW) IR diodes - safety is a top requirement. Is there such a thing as a safe IR laser diode?

What is this laser like against light objects? (like paper)
ukAdamR 3 years ago
^ also, what difference other than beam shape do the 3 different wavelengths you sell cause?
ukAdamR 3 years ago
IR lasers are not good light colored objects like paper because there is too much reflection.
The 808nm beam is the shape of a circle. The 980nm and 1064nm beams are the shape of a square.
dragonlasers 3 years ago
Other than the shape, do the higher wavelengths effect burning ability?
ukAdamR 3 years ago
Burning ability mainly depends on the power of the laser not the wavelength. Some colors absorb different wavelengths more easily than others.
For instance skin is opaque to some red and infrared wavelengths but much less opaque to green 532nm wavelengths.
dragonlasers 3 years ago
lol go into a croud with one of those and burn there butts!

A green laser is designed to out put green light not IR and people to not expect IR so it is bad.
With an IR laser, it is designed to out put IR, its intended applications require IR and people are aware that it outputs IR.
