  • Is there a laser invisible to the human eye that you can buy glasses for to see? I know they exist, I just don't know what type or where to get one or the glasses to be able to see them

  • You can use lasers in listening devices. an invisible laser would allow you to listen to other at a distance without flagging yourself.

  • where can i get a laser that can burn stuff

  • @hellfireindragocom From Dragonlasers, check out the 1 watt 447nm Spartan laser that is outstanding for burning

  • @hellfireindragocom wickedlasers S3 lineup is real great for that stuff

  • Well, you understand, and I think you would be aware that these lasers could be used as weapons? If you increase the frequency of energy ....

  • if ordered a laser called firedragon-v pure infrared 808nm 400mw and it says that it

has adjustible focus wat dus that meen

  • am I the only one who thinks he sounds like... caaable guuy ?

but don't take it from me, go to 1:57 to see for yourself :P

  • Can infrared lasers burn white things like paper? I wonder if my 445nm 1 W laser has a lot of IR light as part of its power or it's just a simple diode, because it can't burn a white sheet.

  • @0Sebek0 IR lasers are very bad for burning light colored objects.

  • @0Sebek0

A 445nm laser will have no ir.

  • how clear is the beam on the 400mw 1

  • @airtrifle Even with the more powerful IR laser pointers the beam is not visible. The best you'll get is a faintly visible beam point.

  • @dragonlasers i mean the point but thnx for replying

  • @dragonlasers What happends if you put a magnifying glass in front of the laser beam, would it then be possible to increase the power or burning range

  • @ACNC1 magnifying glasses are more for concentrating the beam and increasing burning ability.

  • Is there a non-burning version of this laser? That would be amazing when used with Johnny Chung Lee's interactive white board Wii hack.

  • do they sell cheap ones somewhere? i need an IR laser for a trip-wire trigger for a camera flash for high speed photography and the IR LEDs are not putting out enough light

  • haha perfect for pranks

  • Comment removed

  • The beam between the laser and the surface is invisible but the actual point where it hits the surface is clearly visible

  • Who would want an invisible laser pointer?

  • @Tbone155817 to fuck people up, apparently people enjoy that these days

  • @Tbone155817

It is used for night vision devices.

  • you sound like someone from SOUTH PARK haha i forgot who but yea , (nice lasers)

  • If you were the one who innovated these powerful lasers , you must have rainbow pockets full of euro's lol ...also is there a attachment of some sort that is scope-like to where you can see where the IR beam is pointing?

  • @DEFnITDayz No, you need electronics like a digital camera with IR mode to see the beam

  • works kinda like a magnifying glass to the sun

  • The reason you can see infrared on a web cam is because web cams can see infrared unlike the naked human eye

  • wow thats soo cool! A laser thet you nor anybody else can see! And only for $200!

  • I Dont Understend nada!

  • I rather get a magnifying glass

    Its cheaper...

  • how much money (in american dollars) do these things run for? I can't imagine they are inexpensive, even just powerful but ordinary lasers go from 300 all the way to 1000 dollars. like those dragon ones.

  • @MassObliterator IR lasers stat at $200 to $350 depending on power and wavelength

  • @dragonlasers if i order will have any trouble shipping to the us

  • that burns right in your brain

  • point it at ur face

  • Imagine looking into one of them you'd be like "Actually it's not that bright.. AARGH IT BUURNNSS!!"

  • Think of bar heaters and how much energy they give out. Much of that is IR

  • Hey , i`ll might buy one of these IR Lasers from your website (propably the 400mW one)! But two questions.. Which one did you used at 2:40? was it the 400mW 808nm or the 400mW 980nm or isnt there any difference between them?

A Hulk laser with 400mW is stronger ( burns things better and so on ) than the IR laser with 400mW , or?

    Sorry for my crappy english!

    Thanks , Bozz

  • If they are IR laser, why was the dot visible when you burnt the keyboard?

  • 808nm is near IR. The beam is not visible but with the right contrast, the beam point is visible.

  • @alex76gr because ir light is visible through a camra not the human eye, and if u dont belive me, grab ur camera phone have it on camera mode get ur fat ass of the computer and grab the tv remote and look at the part that you POINT towards the tv and you cant see any light? now look at ir through ur camera on ur phone, then show all ur friends :D

  • @jockrockwell learn to spell fag

  • ron weasly?!?

  • damn u burned up ur keyboard XD

  • How dangerous would a 1500mW IR Laser with a wavelength of 980nm be?

  • burn through your skin instantly from 20 feet away dangerous...

  • @HRHKingAaron

It can cut a pencil in half

  • @foibos899 laser pencil sharpener

  • if take a low power 650nm red laser and night vision goggles can you see the whole beam in air? or is that only for infrared lasers?

  • Night vision goggles will pick up lasers of all light sources.

  • or use a green one and you can see it with your bare eyes

  • on your web site people were commenting that the lasers are good for their company what company would that be

  • Varies, biotechnology, security, research and many other types

  • i have the same keyboard

  • i have the same keyboard. you can put it in a dishwasher to clean it.

  • how dangerous is a 200Mw IR laser ?

  • At close range it is very dangerous to your eyes if you are not careful.

Apart from your eyes, it is not dangerous.

  • thank you for the help

  • nice

  • nice

  • y couldent you just put an expander on it ps i carnt spell for shit lol

  • Yes, the beam expander will work with IR laser pointers

  • got the same key board

  • can you clearly see these infrared lasers by only using nightvision goggles?, it could go far

  • Night vision equipment picks up Infrared the best. That's how IR illumination works. You can see what an IR laser looks like through night vision in this video. Keep in mind, you can't see anything without night vision equipment of your own. watch?v=1bAMu6m0Yug

  • That's only how Gen 0 night vision works. All other night vision devices use the whole spectrum to enhance the image quality.

  • Gen 0 did not use visible light, only IR. All night vision equipment is most sensitive to the IR region. That's why IR illuminators work. Also why we use IR chem lights and IR chemlights are brighter than Red which are brighter than green even though it is the exact opposite to the human eye. You can even use a TV remote as a cheap blinking IR illuminator.

  • what uses are there for an Infared Laser Pointer? (other than burning)

  • Detecting chemicals/substances and for use with electronics to give two examples

  • Ok, Cool :)

  • i was pointing ir light into my eye i thought it is just light :OOMG......... Thanks for the info Im scared

  • dude your lucky your eye is not burning up

  • but not from a strong laserpointer i think xD

because if you would have done that you would look like that #_'

  • Where did you get that IR display card from? It doesn't appear to be for sale on your website.

Also would it melt if I were to point a 3W 808nm laser on it? :D

  • That card is basically a tool not a product sold by Dragonlasers.

I don't know the power rating of the card. I'd say 3W would damage or burn it.

  • cant i just get a IR diode from a CD burner?

  • of coarse lol

  • thats cool i want 1

  • could i use a lense out of a camera to make the dot of a 30mw laser pointer more powerful?

  • Possibly. You just need a basic magnifying glass

  • what is the best laser for burning at close ranges for under $200

  • That is the Viper 95mW laser for $199.99

  • so what's the best type of laser pointer for burning and how much money would it cost in the UK currency?

  • PM sent

  • hey please tell the truth please. i know your part of dragonlasers but plz tell truth. i bought a 50mW laser on ebay. ok for $12.00 do u suspect it is 50mW. is true from ebay or lower. and also can a 50mw laser pop a ballon or light a match?

  • its probably a really crappy quality

  • wat are the IR lazers used for if u cant see them then wat do u do with them.

  • They are very good for analyzing and detecting substances. Many casinos use them. Also good for engraving and burning.

  • is IR lasers what they use to engrave the insides of crystals

  • Don't know about crystals. IR lasers are used on diamonds.

  • thanks

  • i made my laser pointer i biught of the ice cream truck for a dollar burn.......

  • Can you actually see the dot on the 808nm IR laser? I heard you can. A dim (very deceptive) red dot. Is that true? I really want a 400mW 808nm laser, because it's so cheap and rare.

  • 808nm is often called near infrared because you can just see the dot.

To buy a good quality 400mW 808nm, go to the hand held lasers page on Dragonlasers site.

  • Yep...thanks

  • how come you dont have the dragonlasers logo on here or your channel but dragonlasersfanman does?

  • It is a different type of youtube channel

  • what do you mean by that?.

and where is dragonlasers located at? is it an online store or is it a real store but you sell online to..what if someone robs dragonlasers haha

  • Youtube has a number of different types of video channels.

Dragonlasers is based in China and only sells online.

  • i use these to trim my pubes

  • foreal? xD

  • I tried what u just done and... lets jst say, dont try it.

  • lol

  • Can you get one with a focus point that's... farther away?

  • Not the laser by itself. What you can do is use this laser with an attachment called the "beam expander" that allows you to have a focus point at any distance past 1.4 meters.

  • so, infrared lasers are too burn stuff ??

  • Burning, research and quite a few other applications.

  • lasers r kool! but i didn't relay want to know all this stuff! No offence though. I'm just interested in burning stuff with it!!!

  • that purple is sick!!! how much does it cost?

  • Prices for infrared lasers range from $199.99 to $449.99

  • what would u think is better a green laser 125mw viper or an IR laser 980nm?

  • For just about every application, a green viper is much better than a 980nm IR laser.

  • I got a red 660nm eBay laser that has a foucus point! It only burns at it! When its foucesed and consentrated it only burns at like 1M away, any close or futher away it wont burn. If you dii-foucus it, its foucus point is much closer! Is it normal? (300mW 660nm)

  • Is it possible to melt clear or white PE or PP? If yes then what wavelength is better absorbed 808nm or 980nm?

  • From my experience, it is not possible to melt white PE or PP

  • DL, reduce shipping...

  • I'd like to but shipping is expensive. We just charge you what the shipping company charges us.

  • 1:38-1:43. Whats Their Problem?

  • That section is showing how the focus point of IR lasers work

  • No, I Was Talking About The Car That Beeped For 5 Seconds (1:38-1:43) In The Back Ground .LOL:).

  • Haha no idea. Road rage? Any gunshots after the beep?

  • lol i heard that too wtf is that guys problem lolz jk

  • witch one is stornger?

  • Power depends on the mW the laser gives out. Both these lasers are 200mW so they are both equally as strong.

  • aren't they 400mW? anyway, cool, the 980nm isn't picked up by the camera at all....

  • You are right. Should read my own video description more clearly. Both lasers are 400mW.

  • Thankyou for the video, very interesting. I am wondering if you could share your expertise.

I have a device that currently uses generic Class IIIb red laser diodes, which I'd like to replace with IR laser diodes. Do you know where I can acquire affordable *low power* IR laser diodes?

I'm having trouble finding very low power (<=5mW) IR diodes - safety is a top requirement. Is there such a thing as a safe IR laser diode?

    Many thanks in advance.

  • PM sent

  • whats the point of it invisable if you want it to be visable

  • That's a good question, notice how he hasn't answered?

  • whats the point of an ir laser if u cant see it?

  • Research, experiments, burning things.

IR lasers for example are used in many TV remote controls.

  • fun!

  • Lol, I hope you don't test on your keyboard too often.

  • Amen

  • Wow, these lasers are concaved then? That's the same as what happens when shining a normal laser through a pair of glasses... :O

  • What is this laser like against light objects? (like paper)

  • ^ also, what difference other than beam shape do the 3 different wavelengths you sell cause?

  • IR lasers are not good light colored objects like paper because there is too much reflection.

The 808nm beam is the shape of a circle. The 980nm and 1064nm beams are the shape of a square.

  • Other than the shape, do the higher wavelengths effect burning ability?

  • Burning ability mainly depends on the power of the laser not the wavelength. Some colors absorb different wavelengths more easily than others.

For instance skin is opaque to some red and infrared wavelengths but much less opaque to green 532nm wavelengths.

  • lol go into a croud with one of those and burn there butts!

  • once again very good lasers

how much would this one be?

  • $299.99 for either laser.

  • u always said that IR is bad but y a IR laser?

  • A green laser is designed to out put green light not IR and people to not expect IR so it is bad.

With an IR laser, it is designed to out put IR, its intended applications require IR and people are aware that it outputs IR.

  • whats the diffrence between the 808nm and 980nm?

  • Awsome! but, why did you put "Wickedlasers" in the tags, if thise lasers are "Dragonlasers"

  • Very observant. It is to increase the range of search terms that this video will be found for.

  • oh, I see, thanks for the explain Sir.

  • cool ^_^

  • Sweet!

  • VERY nice!

  • firsT!!!

    lol nice1
