Man pls i need to know! Do you know how many fps will i get on cod2 low settings widescreen resolution? i want to buy this laptop to play some games while away from home,but i need to know howw many fps will i get, as i play a lot of cod 2. pls reply quickly

@RaVGAM3R CoD2 should be a cake-walk for this laptop, really. CoD 4 and GoD 6 (MW2) are much heavier and you can play them very wel on low to medium settings. Widescreen resolutions (720p for example) should be no problem when playing CoD2.

Is it possible to play tf2 with a consistent 30+fps on that laptop if you turn the graphics to the lowest settings with the resolution at maybe 640x480 also?

If you dont want any slowdowns, 1024*768 @ low will be enough

how are you able to play call of duty? i tried on mine and it was very slow. did you change the GPU speed? what do i need to do to my u230 to play these games as smooth as you?

@xlr8alex Yeah, i can play both CoD fine. I do not change the GPU speed, does not have a big effect anyway if you do. I just use the latest driverset and make sure it runs performance powersetting and is plugged in

@XanderDrakeNL i also tried assasin creed, and its very very slow, i even put the resolution all the way down and all the settings of the game at minimum, and its still slow. honestly i dont know what settings you are using (note: im using the PC game, not emulator) please help

how does the keyboard feel? is your keyboard flat at the middle because mine seems to have a bubble like effect on the middle of the keyboard.. the keys seems to pop up like there's a small hill haha

@soupoftheday241 The fenomena that you discribe is called keyboard flex, and no, the U230 has non of that. To be precise, this keyboard is among the best i've ever tried, desktop or laptop wise.

@xuimod My CPU and RAM are on stock speeds, look it up.

No, many recent games are playable on 480p. Older games, like Counterstrike Source and Battlefield 2 are playable on 720p or 768p.
