nice review man, can you give me advice on how to upload the video footage in full screen resolution. I keep getting blocks on the side. settings on my cam/rendering etc

@VeeArtMedia when you edit the video you need to change the format from 3:2 to 16:9

Is it possible to use a tripod with that camera?

@xtryker1 sure is...just makes sure the tripod can swivel forward because the camera has that 25 degree upturned lens on it.

@caseysbird the C10 doesn't have still photo capabilities. You need the C20 to do that and it has a dedicated photo button.

@73prime about the same as the F40...same sensor as far as I can tell.

@TallGirlSarah01 its alright and you can probably get it used for about $60...any more then that and I would recomend getting something else. The camera is kind of dated now and you can score a decent HD pocket camera for about $100

I have a question. Is it possible to take a normal digital photo? They say you can't on reviews, but the the information normally says yes in the descriptions. Perhaps you can show me the quality of one and how would I do this once I have the camera? Thanks : )

@LugiaLightning unfortunately the C10 can't take pictures. Only the C14 and up can. The c10 and C14 are basically the same camera and have the same firmware except the C14 is the one you want if taking pictures is something you want to do with your camcorder.

@LugiaLightning well the c14 and c20 only take pictures at 2.0mp so I can't imagine that they would be anything to write home about. If you want to take really good pictures look at the FS40. It can do 5mp pics while recording at 720X480

@LugiaLightning I honestly don't think that there are many people using cam corders as picture cameras. I use my Panasonic from time to time as a pic cam but I prefer the quality of my kodak over anything.

I looked at one of those when i bought my flip but it was so light weight and compact i was affraid it wouldn't do what i needed it to plus i have never been really fond of samsung anything their stuff usually doesn't last that long, i am tough on my electronics and for some reason the samsung name brand while good just can't take my tortures. i like the time lapse though can you pause it though? that's something most now days don't do.

awesome id love to own 1. my digital works great and for 84$ is very decent! shot all my vids with it

@TheHondaAbuser just gotta use whatever works right. I only use this camera for stealth operations when I forget my sunglasses with the camera installed or my spy cam. Small camera is great for when you are doing a build and want to show the products at the store. Alot of store fronts don't like filming on the premises.
