I don't know what it is, but there is something Patton, but especially Spurance use in their songs which makes my mind just addicted into listening to them. Almost every song of Spurance succeeds in it.
That's something at which main stream music mostly fails, when I listen to it. But I also have to admit that I don't pay that much attention to lyrics since English is not my native language and I also rather consider the voice as some sort rhythmnic instrument.
Trey spruance is an over-all genius/madman. No wonder he and patton were in a band!
