  • I was there, a never to be forgotten night without a doubt they raise the bar everytime they tour and there is no band that can compete with U2 live....a truly magic night......hope they come to NZ soon....!!!!!!!

  • I was there and I love U2 and this concert was just amazing...!!!

  • what a band i saw them in wembley what a night

  • U2 wrote "Miami"

  • @extreme67 you say that like it's a bad thing..hehe.

  • I was there... front of Red Zone and when the intro started for Bad we went wild... totally unforgettable - have tickets for 2010 already

  • Everything thats good about music this band are.Blew me away in Cardiff in August.

  • Ahhhhh I hope they do this one in Vancouver!

    I love this song =D

  • When we all carried on singing "How long to sing this song"...that was one of the best moments of the night :) When it started I think everyone there just fell to the floor because everyone want to hear Bad! haha. Such a great night.

  • parodyrose...it was simply amazing, what a nite, i hope they finish in slane in 2010, i'll be there x

  • still sends a shiver down my spine, was an awesome night!

  • i saw bad in Amsterdam 21 july :)

    was amazing

  • I can't wait to see them in ATL on 10/6 just 2 weeks ahead ....

  • I know I won't. Bye

  • TOILETS & EXIT!! YEAHHH!!!

    great video :)

  • Yeah when you're in a half decent band you may end up playing in a venue that requires toilet facilites and access for people who want to attend. Don't think you'll have to worry about that though

  • i love this song!!!

  • Was so glad they played this on Saturday in Chicago. Best song ever. Note to those of you who are going to see them in days/weeks to come. Don't worry so much about recording the concert. Enjoy it at its fullest and then buy the DVD when it comes out. Wish I would have done that. I was so worried about getting this on film that I didn't enjoy it as much as I could have.

  • I was there awesome, what more can you say the best by far!!!!!!

  • less than a week to go!! toronto baby

  • cant wait for boston 9-20-09

  • i'll be there with you man

  • 10 more days! can't wait to see them in Gillette =]

  • ...and so will Bruce Springsteen haha!

  • Watch out for U2...because they WILL rock your face off !

  • Awesome!

  • Awesone video! I was at the Millenium and well up every time I see this clip!

How long....can they go on performing like this? Brilliant memories of a fabulous weekend-Thanks Matt!

  • omg this was incredible. u2 have to end every concert with thease 2 songs from now on .

  • there is nobody like them! stones? beatles? nobody can match U2

  • Can't agree more.

  • Words can't describe it, you had to be there, The hairs are sticking up just watching this

  • Yeah they played moment of surrender and his voice was fine and was fine all gig. There's another vid on here that shows Bono close up during this song and it's clear he was overcome. He dedicated a song to a dying friend earlier and it was the most electric U2 gig ive been too. Never ever seen Bono like that. You knew it was a special one cos he clearly plays the Gretsch twice on this song which he never usually does

  • Did they play moment of surrender at this show? If not, I wonder if it's because Bono was having trouble with his voice..

  • U2 was awesum in cardiff. bad was such a good song to play at the end. I was hoping they would play Bad as they never played it on the vertigo tour.

Im sure i can hear someone sing the BAD version from live aid at the start of the recording (0:36min). bombbomb bomb bomb satelight of love.........

  • this was cardiff,an absolutely brilliant concert and im glad they played BAD

  • What an incredible venue to see U2. It was a fantastic night ! Fourth time that I have seen them and by far the best. Brilliant remix of crazy. Will someone with the power get it on itunes !!!!!

  • What a bonus getting "Bad"..would have much prefered that than one or two other songs..but loved the gig at Hampden..

  • This was an awesome night, especially when the crowd kept singing after the boys left the stage.

  • I was there and it was a great gig - the best U2 outdoor concert - Cardiff is a great place too and i am Scottish! Still bring the shivers to me when listening to this song.

  • Awesome, whas this at Millenium Stadium in Cardiff?

  • I would love to hear a full version of 40,, seems likes years,, years since i heard that simple effective reprise call out,, as a crowd leaves the stadium.....use to always end the shows with 40..and it was just capitavting.

  • They did the full version of 40 to end many many shows on the Vertigo tour...

  • I really like Moment Of Surrender,, but it does not connect with a crowd,, the same way40 does,,,, what was the sound like In Caediff btw,, in Dublin it was spot on,, during Vertigo in Dublin i twas really brutal,,, and in Hampden it keeled over during Walk On,,, and it was such a moment for something to go tits up,,,great show though,,atmosphere was, just..complete, totally complete

  • I am gutted iwas not there,,seemed like Cardiff wasa super show,, They did not do this at Hampden,, i love this song and in Dublin,, when they belted this out it had me transfixed after all these years,,i was a bit misty eyed i tell you,, i was,,Still though,, what an experience.

  • i was there amazing i cried worth the seven hours getting home

  • Saw this at wembley 2 - helped make that night `take off' special song by a special band

  • Did they end with this song? I thought they'd been ending with Moment of Surrender.

  • Bad was the end before the "encore". bono has then to change his jacket ;)

  • Thanks for posting this, i was at wembley & cardiff to see them & this track was excellant at cardiff even though poor old bono's voice is going.

  • Cheers for posting this, one of the highlights of the night. Fantastic gig, fantstic audience. Good on ya Cardiff, you Rocked!

  • thank u so much for sharing this,I was there on the night with my daughter, her first U2 gig,she s converted, lol.saw them in 87, still totally AWESOME.Magnificent!!!!

  • How long to sing this song!!!!!!

Simply amazing..... most memorable night; great audience - came all the way from London to see this; love Cardiff!!!!!!

  • I was there-way up in the gods but best show I've ever seen. Cheers

  • weak performance, fantastic filming -keep itup, please.

  • I was sitting in the middle tier just above the stage, And i looked around at the crowd at the end of the song when the "40" chant started, The hair's on the back of my neck, The goosebumps on my arms and the whole atmosphere of the whole thing took my breath away, Never seen anything or heard anything like it. I got a tear in my eye watching it back.

  • That would be "the Spirit in the house" that they refer to. The favor of God is definitely upon them.

  • I sobbed last night when they played this..It gets me every time!!! Just so so beautiful and the end was just so so gorgeous and brought back so many wonderful memories of U2 gigs in years gone by!! Thank you....

  • they might. i saw them do it in dublin. unforgettable. been to chicago. cool city

  • me too!!!! what an emotional performance and what an amazing, awesome night -the atmosphere was simply electrifying!!!!

  • Wow, better than ever. Bono's guitar REALLY adds character to this song.

All it needs...to be perfection...is sympathy for the devil and ruby tuesday snippets...and the added verses of London 2.

  • da iawn

  • Love this song! I hope they do it in Toronto on Sept 17th.

  • This was amazing. The atmosphere was so good. This song gave me goosebumps. Didn't think they'd play it but they did. The ending was special, with thousands of people singing the last words

  • very emotional watching it again, excellent night thanks for posting

  • How the crowd carried on at the end was amazing. I was there in the standing section and everyone just kept going it was beautiful!

  • Yeah, I'll be disappointed if I don't hear it at Chicago I...doubt they'll play it then, though. Oh well.

  • If they do, it'll probably be the second night. I wanted to get a ticket to that second show, but I'd have to miss a day of work.

  • gutted they never played this at glasgow
