@luxwutang I'm not disregarding the experimental - or pop, as you like to say albums because almost every artist has a weak album in their discography. Him not being involved in hip-hop solely doesn't mean those albums are bad anyway, their are other classics in genres outside of hip-hop that are better than most hip-hop albums. His first two albums were classics and his MBDTF is a classic, so he has three to his name. Unlike other artists like Nas who is considered a ''legend''.

Many credible reviewers consider MBDTF to be the best ALBUM of the past ten years, fans of music alike. Just because you don't like an album does not hinder it from being a classic. I don't like Ghostface Killah's Ironman, but I can agree that it's a classic. As for his business outside of music I don't care, I only judge artists for their music and nothing else.
