  • problem solved MY ASS!!! IT'S OUT OF SYNC YOU FUCKING KNOBEND

  • 3 month old MacBook Pro:

Out of sync Firefox 3.6.2; Flash Version: 10.3.183.5

In sync for Safari; Flash Version: 10.3 r183

Maybe in the 3 years, the software is now behind Flash? Anyway, I hope you got at least throse 3 years in good audio. ;)

  • It's out of sync.

  • This video is ok man lol stop making us want to buy other stuff

  • this vid started going out of sync at 20 seconds watch carefully im having same issue i want a good quality with video and im having major issues specially with wmv

  • it went out of sink at the end lol

  • I use windows movie maker to make fandubs (like i find a karaoke version of a disney song per say and import it into WMM). And then when i record my voice with my USB blue snowball mic, the audio lags behind about a second or so which totally throws off everything. Help?

  • What if your video and audio were in sync until you uploaded it onto youtube?

And then, suddenly, there's a huge gap?

  • he didnt blink.. not once

  • 1:47

  • @lowrider5140 yes he did! 0:52 to 0:55 lol

  • @lowrider5140 YA HE DID 1:50

  • Your video is a LITTLE off sync but it's still fine. I might try it.

  • Oh. Well then...my mistake, sorry.

  • (Actually, it was a fair comment! No offense, bro!)...

  • This seems to be an infomercial in disguise. It's interesting that as the vid goes on the sound and video slip out of synch.

  • 1) Yes, I do mention Mike Stewart in this because he is the one who helped me solve this problem with his software. (& in this case, I have no affiliate link nor do I receive any compensation for this video).

    2) I do understand that on some people's machine that it may go out of sync due to YouTube Rendering in old Flash players.

I create a lot of videos using this SAME method now & they only produce great results. This solution works well for me, from both a video & audio standpoint.

  • Matthew,

You may have also solved a problem for me. I want to record video with my SONY HV20 camera (audio muted) and record audio with my high quality mics and USB mixer (Tascam US-428) and then edit the audio in Cubase. I haven't yet tried it but was told many times I'd have sync problems. I am going to try the technique of recording audio on camera and through the Tascam and lining up waveforms but if it fails, I will consider your solution. So many people have this issue. THANKS!!!!

  • Hi Mat,

You could just bring your separate audio file into your video editor and line it up with the audio from your camcorder DV file, zooming in to get them just right, then mute the camcorder audio, and output that. That's the way most people do it. Sometimes you'll still be a tad out of sync that way too though because video software only allows you to move files by one video frame at a time. It's better to use an audio app that handles videos files too, and do everything from there.

  • funny thing is its synced fine for me. This video is fine.

  • lmfao i aint wastin money on somethin you just proved doesn't work lol

  • WOOHOO!!! Thanks SO MUCH for this video. I could kiss you if you weren't a guy! This is great. i've downloaded the software and it's solved my problem with my quickcam and my regular cam. This is awesome. Thanks so much for sharing your woes.

  • (I fought this for months! The problem is SO Stupid, but I felt like a million bucks when I found this!)...cheers...matt

  • For $6 - $10 u can get a clip-on mic with 3.5mm jack. Your problem is the "USB" mic. Anything that uses USB will override your soundcard that you have on your computer. So if you have a good quality soundcard, it will just override it and use the "usb" itself. And I wouldn't spend $40 for a software like that where you can just get a simpler solution.

  • I have used the 3.5mm jack microphones in the past and they are OK, but if you are looking for any type of true quality (like from an XLR-type microphone), you need some kind of converter and usually that is a USB converter like a LightSnake or Edirol converter. I do a lot of lavier work and condenser work and finding a good mic with the 3.5mm of these is tough and frankly it comes at the cost of quality.

  • The sound is still out of sync.

  • This is not a problem with the file, but the compression and how it is streamed by YouTube. Other video companies, like Revver, stream the video fine and the AVI's and WMV's that are produced locally line up fine, too. Other file types work better with YouTube. Still, WMV is one of the most universally accepted formats out there right now and therefore I still with it. For embedding purposes, I do not use YouTube for my WMV productions.

  • umm, its still not synchronized.....
