Crank Sensor Operation

Are these known to fail on citroen saxo's?... Because my car keeps cutting out and have been told its commen with crank sensor failing?

0:37 That is one weird looking trace. Are you sure that trace came from a magnetic crank position sensor?

YES, i looks weird, but it is a magnetic sensor. If you look carefully it is a sine wave, which IDs it as a magnetic sensor. The reason why it weird in because it belongs to an older HONDA system, which produced that signal.
