@MrPrototypz It's a reference to their first battle where Mundus says he has to face a Sparda once more. Dante means that whenever Mundus does return, a Sparda (i.e Dante's son) will always be ready. It's also Dante's way of mocking him.
@MrPrototypz The irony is that Vergil's voice actor for DMC3 is the funniest guy in the entire cast. That guy made me crack up at the TOA convention, LOL. Him and Reuben are the ones made Dante and Vergil so damn iconic and kickass.
2: I never saw the plane coming XD. One of the things that makes this scene and the game (ground zero of the "Extreme Combat" genre") so iconic
3: The magma always reminded me of that one pizza you have with far too little cheese thats runny and stringy but WAY too much tomatu purée
4: I guess they thought Dante was too much of a badass icon to have him die and be replaced by the son he mentions here, bet he'd be gutted if it was a daughter
