Sooooooooooooo BEAUTIFUL!!!! I am so glad that Valentina does not ignore the most simple musical compositions as many times they are the greatest pieces of music ever written for piano or any instrument.
Many of the comments state that this is an uncomplicated or easy piece but I, being a pianist for some time can say that this is one of the most difficult ones by Schumann since a marvelous performance is so hard to be achieved. It's a phrase that expresses both love and tranquillity and the interpretation of Valentina Lisitsa is a one of a kind.
Until now I felt that Horowitz´s interpretation of this piece, was the most incredible and beautiful one. I understand that it´s really awful to compare the great Masters. Anyway I need to say that Lisitsa played Träumerei in such a flawless, beautiful, colourful and perfect way, that I simply can´t believe what I´m hearing.
I just wanted to say in my bad english, that I don´t like to compare one great master with other great masters. It would be unfair, just because my lack of musical authority to to it.

Valentina plays this uncomplicated composition so beautifully. She can also thunder out superb and detailed virtuosity over a full orchestra; superb musical mastery.
Very much like the last few seconds where we get to see her shy and very honest character. What a wonderful artist!
Can't stop watching Valentina's playing.
