this is awsome. read a couple of there comics at barns n noble.i remember the guy nd his horse. the horse got slaughter really bad. thats how i remembered it. the comic was graphic. cant wait till it comes out. hope its worth watching.

I'm 17 and I hate my life. I've loved zombies my entire freaking life. Now that I'm odler I've been able to start some zombie themed projects, I was even working on a graphic novel, and now this comes out... I excited and can't wait to see it... but it seems like everything I think of , ends up being done before I can do it

Zombies have been trending for a long time. I think it was the first Pirates movie that did it. Before that, it was ninjas. Remember crouching tiger and the hordes of ninja movies that come out around then?

Soon we'll be trending on Western styled shit, and then it will just rinse and repeat.

Looks like fun. Yes the waking up in a hospital does seem very close to 28 Days Later (not sure if this comic did the same thing before 28 DL). Apart from that it seems very different. Andrew Lincoln kind of reminds me of Tony Goldwyn (Ghost).

Why am I not interested in this? Because it follows too closely to the comic. Its one thing to base it off the comic, and another to redo it page by page. Only a quarter of that was original material, and even that was based off what happened in the comics (he went into the tank, for example)

The best thing about this graphic novel is that it really isn't about the Zombies.

It could have been any disaster. War. Famine. Another virus. The fact that the scourge is zombies is secondary.

It's about the humans and how they survive in this world, and how they survive each other let alone the Walking Dead.

Of course, there is tons of good Zombie Killin in it too, to feed the horror in ya.

The Graphic Novel is one of the best on the market right now, WTG!

I'll try to be as nice as i can here.....those who compare this to 28 days later obviously have not read the comic! Sure, 28 days later came out a year before this series started, but there's one huge difference.......THIS SERIES DOESN'T FUCKIN SUCK!!!! This book got me back into reading comics again.

@DrDazzleFTW This is the best series I've ever read.....and I've read 40 years worth of comics! lol. I'd suggest buying the trade paperbacks that are out. Great way to read them on the cheap. The show looks true to the book, so you might not even have to read them unless you wanna fast forward to see what's coming in the series. lol.

@videoboy1245 Well, you can't blame people for drawing comparisons to 28 Days Later with that whole 'waking up in the hospital' sequence. I happened to like '28 Days' so I hope it IS better.
