  • This is one of the worse tattoo vids I've ever seen. I watched it when it originally aired and was like WTF? Everything is aweful! Hands are dirty, the machines look like they are set up to cut metal, the stencil is horrible and then applied even worse, the line work is garbage, no concept of light source, over worked skin cause of severe abrasive machine speed, and it goes on and on! I was so upset that tattooing was portrayed this way by a very popular show that I like!

  • AAaaaah, to put or not to put a tattoo....

I'm not afraid of ppl who dislike it, not afraid of what my future children/ wife would say or parents.

I'm just so afraid for a BAD TATTOO, if they puncture the ink too deep, your thin fine black line could transform into a black 'river'... and could turn into blue

  • that tattoo's color isnt vibrant, still interesting though

  • Tattoos are awesumm, nice tattoos, and the ones u actually take time to get, its AWESUMM.

  • what nails fucking disturbing /;@$!#

  • you don't know what you're talking about

  • um, lol yes, I do know how to pronounce solder. LOL why do I have 5 thumbs down? Everyone here must be a dumbass.

  • that is a shitest tattoo ever

  • that looooks soo painful..lol

  • Not really. The worst part is after. The irritation, is bad and Some people (like me on some of my tattoos) actually go into a state of (very) mild shock. Causing nausea, the chills, etc. And when it starts to scab over, and itches like a mo-fo. but you can't scratch! To do so could scratch it, causing you to bleed out some of the ink, and ruin the tattoo. this all depends on how big the tattoo is, how much work you had done in one sitting, etc.

  • tattoo needles can get up to 100 small needles, i believe the only one is a 100rs needle

  • these are cool !

    do you make these ?

like, is it you talking and stuff ?

  • it's from the science channel's "how it's made". Or rather the British version of it.

  • stupid question i asked it before i watched the video.Never mind

  • If you have a design on paper. Can you take it to a tattooist and they will be able to copy it?? Can they trace it or anything to make it the same?

  • yeah they can. usually they prefer to maybe change it up, but if its exactingly what you want they should not have a problem tracing your desighn

  • Thanks i realize that now. Ive held on to this certain design for ages to make sure its what i want. It is and i want it to be the exact same. I notice that some tattoos fade into like a green color. Is there a reason for that? The type of ink used or something? I want it to be black and stay black like.

  • most tattoos tend to fade from sunlight, sometimes it is the artist falt and may not have gone ovre the outline enough. but most of the time the ink isnt the problem. kuro sumi is my favorite type of outliner ink.

if its not a pronlem would you email me your tattoo desighn, im couries of what you want.

personal message me and ile give you my email.

  • sorry but what a loud of shit

  • There's alot of misinformative info in this video, for example that's not called a tattoo gun, it's called a machine. And 10v. is alot of power for a machine, even for a shader which would require more power than a liner, that's alot of volts. And the tattoo itself isn't very good at all.

  • WRONG!, a shader machine requires LESS power than a liner

  • I don't know about the quality or colour, but it was very informative. Thanks for posting!

  • making tattoo needles is a lost art and i completely respect this art

  • I like reading the people's comments and how they're whining about how they wouldn't want that tattoo. Well, that person did. They are not you. Deal with it.

  • Top marks for an entertaining and educational video. That tattooist could do with some more training tho as he did a pants job of that flower....45 mins to do that? I could of banged it on in 10 mins with minimum bleeding and more solid colour and he could do with tuning his machines. lol...anyway thanks for putting that vid on youtube :o)

  • You're welcome!

I know nothing about tattooing, but I totally agree with...looked like a 'cowboy' job! :o)

  • @inkylisa i just got a tat from a buddy. he did an awesome job... i'm just curious how you get "faster" at just basically tracing on someone? i'm sure it's more technical than that, i'm no tattoo artist lol. but he said that he wasn't really great at filling in yet, he's only been doing them for couple years really. i just don't get the technical aspects of it and was curious if you could help me see better.

  • This type of tattooing doesn't seem like art at all to me. They take an outline and trace it. What if you came across someone who had the same tattoo as yourself?

I don't think it looks very good...

  • dont like it! bad tattoo, there was no where near the depth that that piece needed, shading lightly with a grey first would hav seriously improved it.

when tht woman get older that tattoos gonna look crap as it ages.

  • Waaaw!

    Great!

    Amazing!

    WONDERFUL!

    I LOVE YOU LOL
