  • What is the US government prepared to do to make hockey a bigger sport?

  • I definitely would've done her, though, when she was young.

  • WHAT A FUCKING BULLSHITTER. If, to make health care "affordable", it's "important for everyone to be in the loop".......do you see where I'm going with this..........they WHY IS HALF THE GODDAMN COUNTRY EXEMPT FROM PAYING TAXES OR LIFTING A MOTHER FUCKING FINGER TO HELP THEMSELVES, NANCY??

  • Try speaking like her, pretend you're making those expressions and acting that friendly to someone, and you begin to grasp how utterly full of shit she is.

  • Thank you, Nancy, for all you did and tried to do for the American people. The obnoxious comments by the tea baggers here shows the underhandedness of these people.

  • Looking to increase the visits to your site? The GAS aff system is the answer,Because unless you have very good knowledge of programming languages, GAS is the only one with a simple installation,Find the software at GAS-AFFILIATEdotCOM.

  • BYE BYE NANCY.....you hypocritical, nasty witch !!!

  • @yahazif Yes okay- I give you that- they will maybe get help- but it is so expensive that many times people don`t. Without healthcare insurance you are fucked otherwise why have healthcare insurance at all? To Europeans the system is very very unfair and silly. No there are no socialist countries in Europe- there are the democratic capitalist scandinavian wellfare countries if that´s what you think about and they are the happiest, safest and wealthiest countries on earth by most messures.

  • Thank God you lost the house and we no longer have to see or listen to your windbag ass feed us a line of bullshit. You really like yourself don't you? Turn you private jet back in to the tax payers you loser and fly coach like the rest of us!!!!!!!!

  • Wind bag ala Palin.

  • Wind bag.

  • She's kinda cute.

  • Quote: "The upper 50% of the wage earners pay @97% of all tax collections - the lower ones only @3%. The upper of the upper pay a disproportionate share of that too, the Top 1% of earners = 37% of taxes paid, the next bracket 2-5% accounts for another 20%. So about 57% paid by the top 5%. Especially as this is for Personal Income Tax only, and many of the more wealthy have much of the income taxed (some would say double taxed) by in the Corporate returns of those corporations they control/own."

  • @WiIdKATz: You're not listening to me. It doesn't matter if they pay 97 percent of the taxes, they only pay 15 percent of what they make, if that.

  • @judyleasugar97 "It doesn't matter if they pay 97 percent of the taxes, they only pay 15 percent of what they make, if that."

    ***

Oh I got you alright ... you just unveiled it again ... you want that 1% to pay ALL 100% of the taxes ...

    LMAO!

  • @judyleasugar97 Even if that were true, which it is not, why do you think that would be so? Have you even read the tax code? If so, feel free to enlighten us as to how much a person owes, in taxes, to the government after earning 7 figures or better. We'll wait.............;)

  • @luke55664: I've already answered that question. It's a circular argument -- you're basically stating the same things over and over without listening to my answers.

  • Liberal Progressive (a.k.a. Communist-Light).

These dumb, useless and lazy ideologists want free handouts from their Governments. They want to 'work' as little as possible and then line-up for free handouts.

They are clueless and stupid and they can't take a step forward without their Govn't dictating and outlining their lives.

They are so pathetic, that they feel lost and insecure without their Govn't giving them instructions and order on how they must live their lives!

  • @WiIdKATz: That's really not true. There may be a few people who don't want to work but most people DO want to work. They want to take care of their families.

  • Lower taxes lead to more money to hire more tax paying employees which leads to more revenue for the Fed! It's been proven time and time again, by Reagan and Bush both! Record tax revenue with Bush's tax cuts!

However, the Lib Progressives want higher taxes because they KNOW it's leads to stifling of economy and makes MORE people dependent upon the almighty GOVERNMENT!! Leftwing Agenda: Greater Government Expansion and Greater Government CONTROL!!

  • If this healthcare bill is soooooooooo wonderful - then why have all the Govn't officials and their families been adamant in being excluded from it and to continue to use their own healthcare?

Wait a minute! oh yeah - the Obama Administration and all it's people are "SPECIAL" - the rest of the "natives", well, we're "different". We're all dumb and useless and need Obama, Pelosi, Reid and the rest of the "SPECIAL" people to tell us what to do, when to do it, how to live our lives.

  • A healthcare bill that the DUMDEMS haven't even read - they want us nod our heads and agree to every UN-TRANSPARENT bill THEY want to pass behind closed doors - while at the same time - THEY don't have a bloody clue what's in that darn bill!

    DUH DUMDEMS!

  • HealthCare Bill: Passed by a PARTISAN vote!! No new taxes?? WRONG!! At least 16 hidden new taxes so far!! Keep your insurance?? WRONG!! The written in 'Catch 22' will make certain you'll have to go to the GOV Ins Plan within a couple of years max!! The LIES just go on and on! SEE YOU IN NOVEMBER!!!!

  • @CaptCody2 Shhhhhh......................The progressives will tar and feather you here on the Tube for being commonsensical. Just let them pay more when Bush's tax cuts expire this coming Sept., thanks to Pelosi and BHO. But then according to the FDR super fan judyleasugar97, my facts aren't facts at all......lol

  • @luke55664 - You are so right of course. Libtard Proggies hate FACTS like Cockroaches hate the light! They're great at skewing, spinning, distorting for propaganda purposes. Case in example, the liberal lies and propaganda brought about the removal of DDT and basically murdered several millions of people, mostly blacks, over decades. Racist much?? .....The real tragedy is, in order to save America, we have to also save the same degenerate libtards who caused it all. So what else is new!?

  • @luke55664: What's wrong with admiring FDR? We would not have had the middle class we've enjoyed without him! Taxes are going up for the 2 percent wealthiest. They are the ones who put this country in the mess it's in, they should contribute something.

  • @judyleasugar97 "Taxes are going up for the 2 percent wealthiest. They are the ones who put this country in the mess it's in, they should contribute something."

    ***

And that 2% is who is supplying the majority of work in this country. Or would you like that 2% to move their business and industries over to CHINA like the rest of the American industries have done due to HIGH TAXES?

I know! Let's all work for the Govn't! Obama has so many jobs out there for all of us!

  • @judyleasugar97 Naturally as a free market enthusiast and individual sovereign I am in complete disagreement with you in that FDR made the "Middle Class" what it is today. In fact I'm not alone, many would argue that we would be much better off if we had less FDR like policies. But to answer your ?..Nothing at all wrong with admiring FDR. It is a free country, and under the 1rst amendment, it is ones free choice to be a "Progressive," "Marxist," "Communist," or practice any "Ism" they choose.

  • @luke55664: Just a few of FDR's contributions: social security, unions and rights of workers, minimum wage, anti-trust laws, banking regulation, much more I don't have room for here. This country would be in a sorry state without FDR. Basically things would be the way they were in Victorian times, a few obscenely wealthy individuals and everyone else abjectly dirt poor and powerless.

  • @judyleasugar97..... Everything you mentioned with respect to FDR policy IS the problem. Next you'll be telling me about LBJ and how wonderful "Great Society" legislation was. Read history please. The free market has housed, clothed and fed more people than any form of socialism. Gov's job is to protect our sovereignty and our rights under the US Constitution. Everything else is extraneous. And it is the extraneous that is the problem, & in the words of the modern Progressives, "Unsustainable!"

  • @luke55664: Oh please. You want to tell me we didn't experience a vibrant middle class in the 50s and 60s? It all came to an end when Ronald Reagan came in office. First he cut taxes for the wealthy then began the shipping of jobs overseas. Undermining the unions and allowing the way for corporate monopolies.

  • @judyleasugar97 I now see you know nothing about economics, so my comments are pointless and wasted on you. Unions are the problem. For insight, look at a Home Depot parking lot then tell me about unions and Min. wage. I know it's a stretch but all the info is there if one knows how to look. You'll better understand how your coveted unions and Min. wage have thwarted job production and commerce not enhanced it. FDR was a progressive, and as such, a Marxist Socialist by definition. As is Obama.

  • @judyleasugar97... Basically, your beloved FDR policies combined with further progressive legislation (LBJ) is exactly what's broken this nation financially. 2/3 of our budget is mandatory entitlement spending. We borrow the rest (1,4 trillion, give or take) just to run our nation. Sound like a good plan to you? Try asking future generations if they like to work as serfs just to pay for all Big Gov promised as they bought our votes. Better yet, ask the Greeks!! It's not too late for you.

  • @luke55664: The problem is shipping jobs overseas. Because of Republican policy the workers in this country do not have any power, they are put in a position of competing with workers in foreign countries who are willing to work for lower wages and no benefits. Until they change that the conditions in this country will not improve.

  • @judyleasugar97 - then you should go bitch at Clinton and the Chinese foreign trade bill he signed with them.

As far as I can recall - Clinton was a DumDem President.

  • @judyleasugar97.. You're grotesquely delusional. UNIONS have run the jobs overseas, get it straight. I bet you didn't know we had the largest expansion of the American economy in American history during Reagan. And that wages rose and middle class expanded under the evil free market entrepreneurship. You'd probably argue with Milton Friedman with that old hat socialist pap. Did you realize your beloved FDR nominated Hugo Black, (KKK Member) to the supreme court? I bet there's much you don't.

  • @luke55664: Oh, paying workers a living wage and benefits is just too much for these wealthy corporations? You know how many billions the Waltons have? They can afford to pay their workers decently! And the economy began to fall apart under Reagan, who's delusional???

  • @judyleasugar97 Sam Walton earned every dollar. WTF are you or anyone else to say he can't earn? That's the problem with you Commies! You actually buy into "Class Warfare" crap. Name a country in which workers have had their revolution and have prospered. You do know that wealth is not finite right? It is CREATED! Which means as it is, we can all get a piece. GOD BLESS the Sam WALTONS and other corporations for creating wealth so we can all get a piece. What have the proletarians ever created?

  • @luke55664 - it's the simple commie/libfart ideology ... 3-4 big companies - ONE HUGE govn't ... get that handful of employees to work their asses off all day - while we take their hard-earned cash and then hand it out to all the bums who are in line - that way we have FULL CONTROL of the population - PLUS their votes :)

Commie/Libfart mentality = civilians have no brain, no power, they're weaklings - therefore, WE, the Govn't need to tell them how they need to live their lives. CONTROL them.

  • @WiIdKATz They're just ignorant and myopic and are opposed to any reasonable counterpoint to Socialism. They buy into that "Class Warfare" crap because they are poor. I've been a worker all my life and a union member only for a minute once. I find that union members are just lazy and want a bunch of free stuff until they are without a job then we tax payers can bail out their pension plan. GM is a perfect example of all that is wrong with unions. No need to read history, it's happening NOW!

  • @luke55664 - you're right on point.

I worked for Scandinavian Airlines System Catering at the Airport (back in Greece). We did have a Union - yes, our wages went up - and later there were more and more demands from the Unions - within 3 yrs they'd dried up the company - and it finally closed its doors and went overseas - over 300+ families ended up in the streets for months after that. Way to go UNIONS!

Some of these libfarts forget history. The war against England was also due to HIGH TAXES!

  • @luke55664 - they also forget that American companies have left our soil and headed overseas, taking our technology with them - leaving our cities/towns rotting with unemployment. These companies left due to HIGH TAXES and high wages forced on to them by the Unions.

Companies importing from China don't get their products taxed - part of the treaty signed with China.

While we're losing jobs over here, the libfarts think that raising taxes will fix everything - they really need to get a clue.

  • @WiIdKATz Most here on the "Tube" are just full of it. I doubt many have actually had to meet a payroll or run company for profit. I can say for sure, that hiring day laborer's (illegals) is palatable for business owners even at a higher pay rate than documented workers as it is cost effective. They don't get the fact the Gov. regulations have limited my hiring capability. If I hire a worker for minimum wage (8.55per hour), I spend more than if I were to hire an illegal for $10 per hour.

  • @luke55664: Illegals are not the problem. Shipping jobs overseas are the problem. I don't know the size of your company, but certainly large corporations could carry the cost of hiring people at a living wage. I'm sorry but you are part of the problem.

  • @judyleasugar97 "Illegals are not the problem"

    ******

Well, you'd better go tell that to the bankrupt States with the high percentage of illegals, as in California.

Tell the tax-paying Americans that they shouldn't bitch about their taxes going to free housing, free schooling, free hospitalization for all the illegals that are invading their States.

    You're so dumb and pathetic.

  • @WiIdKATz: Illegals are not the sole reason for the budget crisis and you know it. More racist crap from tea baggers.

  • @judyleasugar97 - who said it's the SOLE reason?

Read and try to comprehend what people are writing.

They are one of the MAJOR reasons. And this can easily be seen with every State that has a HIGH PERCENTAGE of illegals - they are going bancrupt.

  • @judyleasugar97...... Name one racist thing you have witnessed with regard to the Tea Party movement other than those accusing the movement of being racist! We will all wait......

  • @judyleasugar97... Of course I am, I earn less than 6 figures per year, I must be the problem.......lol Which is it, small business the problem or big corporations? Make up your mind. Yes, contrary to your idea, undocumented workers serve only those that choose to exploit them! WAKE UP!

  • @luke55664 - Exactly! And don't forget, some companies who are required to pay worker's comp (like we do), which ups our insurance ...

Most of the illegals also send their money back to their families - it doesn't stay here - they don't pay taxes, but WE have to pay for their kids schools, their housing and millions of our tax dollars go to their medical/hospitalization.

And these stupid libtards keep parroting the same old FAILED statement "illegals are good for our economy"!

  • @WiIdKATz: If illegal immigrants from England were crossing the Mexican border you people wouldn't complain. It's racism.

  • @judyleasugar97 How can you be so sure? That's just the way YOU see it. You may want to take time for self reflection and quit projecting. After reading this combined with your piece on Tea Party racism, I can now see you are nothing more than a brainwashed tool with no soul, originality, independence and lack any personal constitution.

  • @judyleasugar97 Are you self medicating? Your so called "Living Wage," and "Benefits" is what drives most companies overseas. That, and our progressive tax system. If you can't see it, go to the Home Depot parking lot, ask them what they work for per hour. It's greater than your coveted Min. Wage and in most cases greater than a "Living" wage." If this wasn't true, then why would anyone hire them? I am a business owner, so please refrain from lecturing me about labor. You understand nothing.

  • @judyleasugar97 - "And the economy began to fall apart under Reagan, who's delusional??? ".....Delusional?? Apparently it's YOU!! lmaoooo

Carter: record unemployment-oil shortage hoax-hyper inflation-cowardly hostage handling-etc etc!!!......REAGANOMICS: Got the US back on track through Tax Cuts and Job Growth!!.......Did you even go to school at all? IDIOT!!

  • @CaptCody2: Ronald Reagan began the process of lifting tarrifs thus allowing for shipping jobs overseas. The job situation is the way it is because we are competing with workers in 3rd world countries who are willing to work for less. Reagan allowed for monopolies, cut taxes for the wealthy. And don't give me that bs that lower taxes mean more jobs. These bastards had lower taxes for 8 years under Bush and guess what -- THEY SHIPPED JOBS OVERSEAS!

  • @judyleasugar97 Who cares about low paying manufacturing jobs? The US job market is over 70% service oriented. Tariffs are not free trade. Even before Reagan, unskilled manufacturing jobs were being lost. I suppose Reagan was the reason the Japanese car market exploded. Do you realize that GM has 22% of the domestic market and still can't turn enough profit to manage their bloated pension funds? Reason our Marxist & Chief took our money to bail them out. Get hip, UNIONS DESTROY the free market!

  • @judyleasugar97 Not only have unions destroyed the free market, they now threaten to destroy our country. Oh.....but as Andy Stern says, "Were Global!" How do you like the fact that US workers are now part of an international collective lobbying our government for our tax dollars? As I told you before, it's not too late for you. Read Milton Friedman, Ayn Rand, or better yet, try Friedrich von Hayek's "Road to Sefdom." Don't read? Use the weblink on my page for 10 part video on "Free To Choose."

  • @luke55664: Giving workers a living wage and benefits has destroyed the market? What??? Do you think we should go back to the conditions of Victorian times, when there were no safety precautions, when people worked long hours seven days a week and didn't have 2 nickels to rub together? You tea baggers are insane. So what if these wealthy corporations have slightly less profit margin. They are getting to be too powerful anyway.

  • @judyleasugar97 - "You tea baggers are insane. So what if these wealthy corporations have slightly less profit margin."

    ***

You are insane and stupid and clueless. Your communist ideology has FAILED over and over again.

Corporations are there to provide jobs - and PROFIT for their shareholders. Corporations are NOT Charities.

Corporations and tax-paying Americans should be FREE to choose where they want to HAND OUT THEIR MONEY, without the Govn't dictating to them, or stealing their profits

  • @WiIdKATz: Corporations are there to make money for themselves. You think they are noble institutions? No way. They hire people for profit and will continue to do so regardless. In the '30s wealthy were paying 70 percent of their income in taxes. It is down to 15 percent now if that, considering the loopholes. The wealthy could contribute more and do just fine!

  • @judyleasugar97 "Corporations are there to make money for themselves. You think they are noble institutions?"

    ***

Again, where did I say that Corporations are NOT there to make a profit?

Are you THAT clueless? Go back you dumb bimbo and RE-READ my comment.

I'm flabergasted that you're here, desperately trying to prove a point, when you keep coming up with stupid and baseless arguments and you continue to misconstrue what I said ...

It's all here - go read and then get back to me.

  • @judyleasugar97 What part of my statement did you NOT understand???

    ***

"Corporations are there to provide jobs - and PROFIT for their shareholders. Corporations are NOT Charities.

Corporations and tax-paying Americans should be FREE to choose where they want to HAND OUT THEIR MONEY, without the Govn't dictating to them, or stealing their profits"

    *****

Are you so DUMB? Where in that statement did I say ANYTHING about Corps being "noble institutions"? LMAOOOOOOOOOOO

    DUMB!

  • @WiIdKATz: Well, you do have that attitude. I consider these CEOs to be no better than criminals. Consider BP.

  • @judyleasugar97 "Well, you do have that attitude. I consider these CEOs to be no better than criminals. Consider BP."

    *****

And without these large corporations, many families would be without food on the table. Unfortunately, part of human nature consists of GREED. Whether it's greed for one more slice of toast, or one more dollar, or one more car.

BUT, if it wasn't for certain individuals who are motivated to build large corporations, then there wouldn't be more jobs out there either.

  • @WiIdKATz: So because they are providing jobs we should treat them like sacred cows? No way. "Without these large corporations . . ." give me a break. I'm all for entrepreneurial spirit as you people put it, but companies like Goldman Sax destroyed the economy. And most jobs are from small businesses anyway.

  • @judyleasugar97 I think you're not understanding governments role in the financial crisis. You also are not understanding that even without the mortgage meltdown, a recession was in the post, and that the rest of the world was hit worse. Fannie and Freddie were 5 billion in the red before the mortgage collapse. Financial crisis was a breakdown only in one market. Not the market as a whole. Even Obama has said last summer, "The worst of the recession is over." Is that what we Americans feel?

  • @luke55664: You people's responses seem kind of orchestrated. Are you all sitting in a room together, hired by the Republicans perhaps to blog on Youtube all day?

  • @judyleasugar97 - your responses seem kind of delusional ... what are you drinking?

  • @judyleasugar97 Gee...........Why would anyone think that on a page dedicated to Reagan that one may find like minded people? Imagine that! Then again your ramblings of conspiratorial insight probably suits you better.....Good luck with that.

  • @luke55664: You're a very pompous individual. You obviously think nothing about what's good for the country in general, only about your own skin. Good luck with that.

  • @judyleasugar97 Uh........Actually the free market has been proven to benefit everyone and everyone's interests. You have a better system in mind other than to criticize others'?

  • @luke55664 - they also forget what role Bernie Frank and the rest of those mofos played in bringing down the entire housing market ... see: Fannie and Freddie scandal!

  • @WiIdKATz They'd know it all to well if the Right was running the Senate and Congress wouldn't they?.................Barnie was saying what good shape Fannie and Freddie were in when they were 5 billion in the red collectively. Few months pass and the Shiiiit hit the fan! Good one Barnie. He might have known if it weren't for the junkets and and lunches courtesy of the lobbyist that put him in the congress....Oh yeah, and the glory holes he frequented.

  • @luke55664: LOL, you've got your Fox channel propaganda down. I don't buy it. The situation is a lot more complicated than Fannie and Freddie.

  • @judyleasugar97 ..Not that you know anything about it, much less comprehend what you think is complicated................Blow

  • @judyleasugar97 - if everyone worked for the Govn't, who would be left paying all the Govn't worker's salaries?

Again - failed Communist ideology ... See China, Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania and so many other commie states where the native citizens were living a frugal and miserable life ...

And the Western nations are now having to PAY for it - with mass immigration from these countries.

  • @WiIdKATz: "Corporations are there to provide jobs." It sounds like you are saying they are there to help the masses, oh gee. They are NOT there to help the masses, they are there to USE the masses. I never said they were supposed to be charities, but how about not behaving in a criminal way??? BP, Goldman Sax, Enron to name a few.

  • @judyleasugar97 - well, how about we just DISSOLVE all the large corporations then? According to your mindset, they shouldn't exist.

So, tell us - where do all the MILLIONS of workers go to get a job then? You seem to think you know all about ECONOMY - tell us your solution.

  • @WiIdKATz: I never said dissolve them. But they need to be help accountable. And the wealthy should pay more taxes.

  • @judyleasugar97 ...Top 5% wage earners pay 53.25% of total tax burden. Top 10% pay 64.89% and the top 50% wage earners pay, ready......? 96.03% of the tax burden. All 2008 statistics. And you believe we should tax the upper 10% more while giving those bottom 50% that pay less than 4% of total tax burden a tax cut right? Isn't progressivism wonderful ! ! Actually, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 does exactly that. And the top 50% will pay for their tax cut ...........again!

  • @luke55664 - Well said Luke!! Thank God the whackjob loons are still (barely) under 50% of the population. My estimates are about 20% hardcore drooling crazies, 15 - 20% socialist agenda Obamabots, and 10 - 30% good people who are either gullible or ignorant of facts......And the rest are likely represented fairly well by the Tea Party types.......WE MUST TAKE BACK AMERICA IN NOVEMBER!!!

  • @judyleasugar97 Food for thought, Glasgow, Liverpool and Manchester, all of which are among the poorest cities of the UK, employ over 60% of each populous respectively. They have zero production! This is a trend worldwide. Government of any variety cannot meet the demands of a diverse society. Not a chance in hell! Only people themselves are capable of providing for their needs. You think i am wrong? Tell me now how, tell me how you think government is best to provide..............I'll wait.

  • @judyleasugar97 I am not now nor have I ever been a member of the Tea Party, as it could be said the same for any party especially the communist party. I don't know what your hang-up is with Queen Victoria, but we here in America had already fought and won our independence from England. Or were you not aware of that? By the by, the work environment you speak of, EXIST today, you just aren't seeing it !

  • @luke55664: I'm not speaking of Queen Victoria, idiot, but Victorian times. You know, the 1800s? Go to school and learn history.

  • @judyleasugar97 The Victorian era of the United Kingdom was the period of Queen Victoria's reign from June 1837 until her death on the 22nd of January 1901. The reign was a long period of prosperity for the British people, as profits gained from the overseas British Empire, as well as from industrial improvements at home, allowed an educated middle class to develop. WHO NEEDS TO READ HISTORY? ................YOU DUMMY.....

  • @judyleasugar97 Victorian Times .......Victorian Times...........Victorian Times .......Why am I not surprise you haven't a clue what you're talking about. Yeah, I need to go back school. You indolent half witted twit. Run your mouth and you haven't a clue about history and what you speak of..........Now that is what I love about the "Tube."........Now take you own advice and please quit projecting your ignorance on everybody else!

  • @luke55664: Before FDR workers were expected to put in long hours with little pay. There were unsafe working conditions and no benefits or pensions. The worker had no protection. Capitalism is evil. It benefits an elite few at the top. Where in the constitution does it say Democracy means capitalism?

  • @judyleasugar97 "Constitution/Democracy?" Democracy is our system of Gov. Constitution contains inalienable rights that can't be taken. Capitalism is our economic system. Your point? Also, I have never mentioned the term "Capitalism," but, don't confuse the "Free Market" with the "Crony Capitalism" being played out this day and age. And we have our very own government to blame. But you are free to believe Gov is more well suited to manage our lives. I , like many others, will never accept that.

  • @luke55664: I don't support complete market freedom where the welfare of the general public is at stake. It would be nice if these corporations would do the right thing, pay workers what they should, provide benefits and safe conditions, but they don't. There is even interferance in the economy on a grand scale such as what was seen with Goldman Sachs and BP. Government is not to blame for that, except in the way of LACK of interferance.

  • @judyleasugar97 Lady you are so full of it.............Your verbosity is nauseating. The free market has done more to feed, cloth and house more people on this planet than any other economic system since the beginning of time! End of story. Any notion to the contrary is just ignorant.

  • @luke55664: I'm not opposed to a free market. I'm opposed to capitalism. There's a difference. These wealthy people who think money is all there is and it doesn't matter how the public is suffering need to be saved from their own mental illness.

  • @judyleasugar97 Capitalism is an economic system in which the means of production are privately owned; supply, demand, price, distribution, and investments are determined mainly by PRIVATE decisions in the FREE MARKET, rather than through a PLANNED ECONOMY (FDR,BHO); and profit is distributed to owners who invest in businesses. Capitalism also refers to the process of capital accumulation. It's not only the wealthy that desire capital, it is the poorest as well, rightly so.

  • @luke55664: Capitalism equates to greed. I don't have anything against people gaining wealth, just when doing so causes Americans to suffer. Then there's something morally wrong about it. I'm afraid my view of capitalism has been affected by companies like Goldman Sachs and BP.

  • @judyleasugar97 I never had any doubt you felt capitalism was evil. I know this because Michael Moore said so. So it must be true! After all, he epitomizes capitalism with a capital C and is a perfect example of free market entrepreneurship. Anyone buying into that Marxist/Socialist BS is ignorant. Without the free market, few of us would have a voice, much less a choice. You got a better system?.... Let's hear it !... U know who else hated capitalism? Mao Tse-tung........Good luck with that...

  • @judyleasugar97 I said, and let me say it again.................UNIONS have DESTROYED the FREE MARKET. And now THREATEN to DESTROY our NATION. I never said anything about "Living Wage" PLEASE LEARN TO READ!!!!!!! You taking what I said out of context is an accurate measure of your intelligence, or shall I say .....Lack Thereof ! It's not surprising you think the way you do. You only hear and read what you think fits your preconceived ideas. I just hope you haven't any children.

  • @luke55664: Without unions and labor laws things would be the way they were in Victorian times. Is that what you want? A handful of obscenely rich individuals and everyone else dirt poor. Dangerous work conditions, long hours, no life. You people are insane. Obvously you're being paid by the Republicans to sit there and blog all day.

  • @judyleasugar97...I must say you are a contradiction to the Nth degree. You support both "Living" and "Min." wage? Minimum wage is what government has mandated and regulated. Living wage is what the private sector has adopted on their own. Which is it you covet highly? One can't make the argument between private sector and government both ways. Make a choice already. And yes, I know municipalities do regulate living wages, but they do so voluntarily, not under mandates from the Fed. Gov.

  • @judyleasugar97.... If you'd like to see how Gov. screws it's people, look no further than health insurance. I.e., in CA we have few carriers and the rates are among the highest in the country. Their profit margins are only 3 to 6 %, yet they are among wealthiest companies. How would you explain this if it not for Gov. regulation? Also, GM has a domestic market share of 22%. How is they haven't enough money for their pensions? When you can answer those Qs, then you will be closer to the truth!

  • @judyleasugar97 Kurt Cobain actually committed suicide, so spend more time reading the works of economic intellectuals who have studied their theories and can show how the free market provides for a society. Recessions happen in the free market. It is the way in which the market purges itself of bad business models. Recessions are not to be feared in a free market as they are short lived and the economy is stronger once they subside. FDR made the depression worse than if he did nothing!

  • @luke55664: I have one roomate who listens to Thom Hartmann and another who listens to Fox Channel (sad to say) but it has made me knowledgable about both sides of the argument. Who suffers under recession? Not the rich fat cats. That's what bothers me. It seems the bottom half of society pays for the wealthy's gambling debts. There's something very wrong there.

  • @judyleasugar97 ....Recessions are bad for everyone, especially the "FAAAAT CAAAATS" you and Obama and My dead grandma speak of. I can't believe you actually fall for rhetoric by way of antiquated colloquialisms. Laughable as the Marxist & Chief himself.

  • @judyleasugar97 I'm sorry but I don't see how Hartman or Fox have anything to do with any opinion I have regardless of whether or not they are shared. Question, is that how you see the world? Black & white, R & D, Fox & MSNBC? that would be quite pathetic. I have cited you material in which I base my opinions, and Fox wasn't on my list. Sorry it is atop yours.

  • @luke55664: Your views are spouted on Fox channel daily. You obviously dip from the same think tank.

  • @judyleasugar97 - You are the poster child for Typical Narrow Minded Leftwing Liberal Moron!! You complain about jobs going overseas, yet WANT HIGHER TAXES?? HIGH TAXES IS EXACTLY WHY JOBS GO OVERSEAS, YA FREAKSHOW!!......You say tax cuts do NOT create more jobs and subsequently more tax revenue? THE FACTS PROVE YOU WRONG TIME AND TIME AGAIN!!....Btw Einstein, do you really think raising taxes makes the "rich" pay more taxes?? WRONG!! IT ONLY INCREASES TAXES ON THE LOWER CLASSES!!

  • @CaptCody2: Apparently you didn't read what I said. Wealthy were paying 70 percent of their income in taxes in the 1930s. Now it is down to 15 percent if that, what with loopholes. THEY CAN AFFORD TO PAY MORE! And they send jobs overseas out of greed not necessity!

  • @judyleasugar97 In the 1935 Wealth Tax, Roosevelt raised the top marginal tax rate to 79% for incomes above $5 million a year. Only one individual—John D. Rockefeller—occupied that tax bracket at the time.

  • @luke55664 - I know about Greece, since I've lived there half my life ... Yes, socialist Govnt's have proven to have failed - in Greece, in Spain, in Italy, in the U.K. etc. etc. and Obama with all his trolls wants to take us down the same path - the libfarts think THEY have the right solution for socialism.

Also, Greece (and other Western European countries), were forced by the EU to take in several thousand immigrants per year and hand out social welfare packages! Another downfall.

  • @judyleasugar97 - "Taxes are going up for the 2 percent wealthiest. They are the ones who put this country in the mess it's in, they should contribute something. ".....WTF?? Just how friggin ignorant are you?? Really?? The freaking "RICH" already pay 90 to 93% of the entire tax burden now!!.....Just like you somehow think that raising taxes on corporations will NOT drive them overseas?? My God, you are so incredibly uninformed and ignorant, it's truly frightening!!

  • @CaptCody2: But the wealthy pay only 15 percent of what they make, if that. Impose import taxes and they will choose to hire in the US. You people are frightening.

  • @judyleasugar97 "But the wealthy pay only 15 percent of what they make,"

    ****

Oh really? 15% ... so you consider someone who makes $50,000 a year as WEALTHY?

    DUH!

  • @judyleasugar97 - Where the freaking hell do you get that the wealthy only pay 15%?? Name your source! That is utterly ridiculous! ....As far as imposing import taxes (I suspect you mean tariffs) tell that to your China cuddling Clinton! He's the one that got into bed with China and is STILL making money from that!....Personally, I give up on the whackjobs like you! The facts about taxes are all over the internet if you'd look. Even Wikipedia has 35% as top income bracket. You are simply a fool!

  • @CaptCody2 - Looks like the commies want the corps and high earners to pay 100% tax to cover their fat lazy asses.

  • @WiIdKATz: Not true. Most people are more concerned about job security than taxes.

  • @judyleasugar97 "Not true. Most people are more concerned about job security than taxes."

    ****

    BRRRRRRRRRRRRR ...

When a company has hight taxes - they might as well close their doors ... NO JOBS.

When a hard-working individual has to give up his hard-earned living away to a Govn't who then dictates where their money is going ... those individuals ARE concerned ... LESS MONEY ON THE TABLE FOR THEIR FAMILIES!

See? Not everyone wants to sit on their fat asses for free handouts.

  • @WiIdKATz: God, you people don't listen. Jobs have been sent overseas OUT OF GREED NOT FINANCIAL NECESSITY. The wealthy enjoyed low taxes under Bush and yet they continued to ship jobs overseas. Impose import tariffs and jobs will come back.

  • @judyleasugar97 - Clinton helped in getting many companies out of America and over to China - he signed the China trade bill ... you seem to be very forgetful ...

But hey - "blame Bush" is always the easiest way out for all of you isn't it?

Didn't Obama say he's the ONLY ONE who is capable of "fixing everything"? Well, we're waiting!

It only took him 43 days to get his ass over to the Gulf.

  • What a disgusting excuse for a congressional representative. Well America, how have you like the past 4 years with this wretch in control?.....Yeah...Our country is sooooooo great, that people like her want to change it so much, and compare other broke azz nations as shining examples of Socialism.....Obama was right about one thing.....We do need change!.....Vote out all liberal Progressive Socialist Marxist swine who think they know soooo much better how to live our lives than we do!

  • the bigger the pool the bigger the cost

  • @wobinga7: Legitimate ways to cut costs:

    End the unnecessary Iraq war.

End corporate welfare. The oil companies get tens of billions of dollars a year from Washington. They make huge profits and don't need it!

Roll back tax cuts to the very wealthy, all the way back to Reagan's tax cuts.

If Washington would do this there would be plenty for health care, going green, fixing the country's crumbling infrastructure, etc. etc.

  • @judyleasugar97 Well she did vote against (as did BHO), GW's bill to make his tax cuts permanent. Reagan like tax cuts are just not in her vocabulary. Better yet, end all grants and subsidies from oil to bee pollen to PBS. Instead of expanding entitlements, make them solvent first. Oh....wait, is that even possible? ""The problem with socialism, is that eventually, you run out of other people's money""( or words to that affect), Margaret Thatcher.

  • @luke55664: I don't know why I can't have a conversation with a sane person on these forums. Nothing that you've said is factual. I suppose you think FDR was a socialist too, the man who basically created the vibrant middle class of the 50s, 60s. Obviously he was doing something right.

  • @judyleasugar97 - FDR did indeed follow many socialist doctrines and did indeed institute a FAILING work program of "creating" federal jobs. It was a self-parasitic program (kinda like eating chunks of your own body to survive) and was only SAVED BY WWII!!! WWII put the PRIVATE sector back to work and prosperity followed, ya dumb fuck! Where the hell did you study history?? SanFagFrisco??

  • @judyleasugar97 Well it's simple, in an insane society the sane appear to be the insane. Evidently you're a progressive socialist, so I wouldn't expect you to understand.

  • @luke55664: Huh . . ?

  • Reguardless off the facts people like Pelosi have a hidden agenda and pass huge bills with all this mumbo jumbo garbage that they can interpret anyway they want. It all comes down to trust..and I'd trust Hitler himself more than I would Pelosi....at least he didn't hide behind his agenda.

  • I have no proof...but it wouldn't surprise me.

  • @KingsorPawn: Just illustrating the fact that you tea baggers believe what you want to regardless of the facts.

  • Speaker Pelosi, could you speak on the RFID chip, gov. funded abortions, and death panels? Thanks much ; )

  • @KingsorPawn: Death panels are a myth.

  • @judyleasugar97 I'm sure the yellow stars of David were myths before they were put on the jews back durning WWII

  • @KingsorPawn: There is absolutely no comparison between the two things. Prove there are going to be death panels. You can't, can you? It's an idea invented by Fox channel.

  • @judyleasugar97 - how about YOU prove that there AREN'T going to be death panels.

  • Nancy Pelosi who was elected to get America out of Iraq but upon getting elected instead quietly agreed to strip out of the $100 billion funding bill for Iraq a provision that would have required President Bush to seek congressional approval before launching any new war on Iran.

Because AIPAC and Israel asked her to.

    She is a traitor

  • It's sick to even think about how people like this are elected. I understand the massive amounts of morons that pollute this country are to blame, but this hag crusaded against our CIA for God's sake, b/c they may have made the terrorists "THINK" they were drowning under interrogation. I suppose asking them really really nicely not to harm us please is a better idea? After all, terrorists are just "misunderstood"...and they don't mean us any REAL harm, yeah? Yeah, let's all take our prozac now

  • This bitch needs to fucking die.

  • America needs Obama-care like Nancy Pelosi needs a Halloween mask. -Leno

  • America needs Obama-care like Nancy Pelosi needs a Halloween mask. -Leno

  • The scary thing is that there is a MR. PELOSI somewhere out there!!!!!

  • this disgusting cunt makes me sick. what a pathetic waste of life.

  • @mdjbm hey still sick if not get disgusted then get sick, repeat agin till you die

  • @1949b thanks for your pathetic moronic statements. in the future, consider sharing them with someone who cares. NANCY PELOSI IS A WALKING ABORTION!!!!!

  • @mdjbm you care you replied.besides that it gives you the chance to say stupid moronic statements. about people you have no interest in.
