I'm not bothered. Yes, surveillance is unwarranted but we don't know about it.
Are they monitoring our youtube comments, too? If someone coincidentally knocks on my door after I've posted hate speech against a government figure, then I'll be worried.
Otherwise I feel this is a paranoid scare. This borderlines god-fearing.
Perhaps they'll enjoy my collection of porn sites visited.
Language can always be twisted and manipulated, hence the reason why constitutional safeguards are nowhere near as effective as they were originally intended.
That's a sticky wicket in of itself, by which I mean the bit about the Supreme Court ruling that foreign intelligence is an exception to the 4th Amendment. I would have to read the ruling to understand better, but any time the Constitution is refined it can lead to a Pandora's Box. Who defines what foreign intelligence is, and can a government agency do so unmonitored?

a) The governments IS the terrorists on this planet.
b) Being secretly surveilled by a terrorist-organisation that is our government and therefor "legal" scares the living shit outta me.
Hows that for a poll?

I would be curious to see the results of a poll like this:
Which are you more afraid of?
a) being personally killed by a terrorist.
b) being secretly surveilled by the US government.
