This is pretty excellent protocol. Vernon defends his comrade with sufficient fury, but when it's time to get his head cool, he does it. Then, Cujo gets there for the expected "goalie fight", but it's not personal so they don't snap. Nice and professional.

Even though nabby is the best sharks goalie that the team ever had, i still miss vernon. He was fun to watch. I was too young to remember vernon fighting but i do remember him helping the team back into playoff contention after two embarrassing seasons.
