  • Hey, just a quick question, because I've been embroidering for a long time and I have never seen the iron-on transfer paper (I use a lightbox to trace designs on with pencil or chalk) ...does the ink from the transfer paper wash out?

  • Oh cool good idea thanks for that I want to learn so bad

  • use a lighter color thread

  • what i mean is how to i transfer the image to dark fabric, i mean dark ink on dark fabric is not gonna cut it

  • you can some times find a light blue transfer pattern or paper or even a white chalk pencil which can be found at a arts and crafts store near you. Also ask there if anyone knows any tricks and tips for it. you never know what you might find out at places like that.

  • so easy to understand ..and to make ..u have to do teacher...

  • OMG!! TOAST AND TOASTER PiLLOW I LOVE IT!!!! BUT HOW DO YOU MAKE IT?!?!!!

  • OH EM GEE octopus project played at austin city limits this year they were amazing!!!! if u like them look up mrandmrsmays

  • Knotting your thread is acceptable IF you push the needle through the fabric to the wrong side, leaving the knot on the right side, and then covering the knot with subsequent embroidery stitches. You can also have a knot on the right side, an inch or so from where you are stitching. When the motif is stitched you can cut the knot off - the thread will be held by your completed stitches.

  • they make these alot In mexico my friend went to mexico n got me some fabric like this n with the desing on It nmy mom show me how to put the stiches on and It come out great

    :]

  • that razor with the words "give up" is supposed to be by an artist whos homeless who sells his work...or so ive heard. he has interesting pieces.

  • You are not supposed to knot your thread! You broke one of the major rules of needlecrafts!
