if you are going to play a song you might as well play it right, this song is being played 160BPM when is supposed to be played 180BPM

actually, it looks like he's playing at his pace, that he feels comfortable with. music's not about comparing yourself to other people. he played it correctly with good feeling.

I've seen a lot of people just try and play faster than they can and it just sounds awful.

this is actually much harder. I've played the battle theme and it fits perfectly under your fingers as well as the rhythm playing perfectly insync. You rarely have triplets on top of eighteenth notes ^^

i'm 14 and i'm working on one winged angel, which in comparisson is far easier than this, and you pretty much mastered it at 13. the only critism i can give is that sometimes you can hear your fingers tapping on the piano, but seriouslly, this is amazing.

I'm 14 too but I can barely play a level 7 piece (what you're playing is probably level 9, btw) Plus, since that was last year you're around 14, too ^^, and you're probably owning people like me =3 (TinselFairy, you're probably better than me too, One Winged Angel is pretty tough) Just keep practicing this piece until you get faster, and you'll own all of us xD (starting slow - smart choice ^^)

the intro of this is just a heavier and more complex version of the creepy descending bit that the original starts off with (which is in this piece as well towards the end) the only part other than that which is not in the original is the last bit. all the rest is the same tune

Wow. Great performance! only 13! there were a few mistakes such as tempo maintenance but it's pretty amazing. im 14 and in grade 4 piano (-.- no flaming) and im trying to play this. tooo stressful on the fingers lol.

This is an okay performance. It's a bit slow, has mistakes, and you cut out a few of the trills (dunno if they're called that), but I think if you practiced some more you could be as good as anyone else on youtube. I've had this week for a week or so and can play the first three pages... but it's a hard song. good job.

The people persona was quoting probably started piano at like, 4 yrs old. I haven't seen many good JENOVA performances, but this one is very nice! ^_~ The tempo might be slow for now, but through practice you'll probably come to play it like a pro. Keep it up! ;)

Mistakes all over the place,at this slow of a pace too. 13 isn't an excuse. I was better in 5th grade, and I know a kid who's 13 now who could play much better than that (but he's a genius and in college...)

Read the score again, the chords especially. Work on the beginning jump, the pause is too obvious. Third page should be read again. Fourth page and last part were bad. Work on that.

Good for a normal person. Still young (well, 5 years younger than me...) so you can still improve. Gdluck.

Nice performance. I won't criticize you that much, since you're 13 and I don't know for how long you've been playing. Not that there is much to criticize btw... Some parts just need some more work to polish it up a bit and I think your performance could've been a bit more explosive.
