Thanks sooo much for these vid's I'm a total zero when it comes to jumping rope...I used to jump when I was a kid and wow I can't believe I don't remember how to :( I going to follow your advice though and take it slow and not get frustrated...thanks again
@SuperElliott01 Thanks for the comment! Glad you like the videos, you will get your skills back with a little bit of practice! Let me know how you are doing! :-)
Nice video, I'm in terrible shape, heard jump rope was a good way to exercise. Was looking for a good video. Hope the other parts are informative as well.
I think something is wrong with me. Some times I can jump about 30 times other times I only manage 3 or 4 before messing up. The get frustrating :(
@data297 Thanks for the compliment and comment, I appreciate it! Let me know what you think of the other videos. There is NOTHING wrong with you, that is totally normally when you are first getting started. Don't judge yourself, just go with the flow and you will be jumping for minutes on end before you know it. (And be in MUCH better shape!) JF
@morisk2 it is ALWAYS frustrating in the beginning. Just start where you are. If you can only do 2 jumps, build to 3, that is progress, keep track and just do a little more. Eventually you will be able to do 1 minute without stopping, then try and do 2 minutes. And so on and so on. Let me know how you are doing, it takes time to acquire the skill!!!!!!!!
Thanks for your clear articulation of this exercise. I've been searching the net for some explanations and howtos and your videos certainly stand out for its 'gray matter' workout.
Does this guy jump rope or talk about jumping rope? Where is the video of jumping rope.

@allabouttheoldschool Good question. Jump rope is great for cardio, and it will help with losing the belly fat!
